WTF is up with all the sports sites. ESPN's boxscore/gamecast is stuck at halftime. Yahoo is updating the score sort of but not the player stats. CNNSI lists Tim Duncan as having 18 rebounds at games end while Yahoo lists it at 21.

sheesh do I really have to turn on the TV to find out his stats?

He's playing great with garbage players, only 18 years old too. Imagine him on a good team.

I had the pleasure of watching the game.

Judging from this one game only, LJ is legit. This kid has awesome court vision and athletism.
By far much better player than Kobe and T-Mac when they were his age.
Scary when you think about it.

But all I care is that the Kings won :D

he did pretty good with what he had to work with. would have liked to see him get a double-double but he took some dumb shots at the end instead.

it sucks..

i agree...bibby would've schooled him right there

i wish lebron the best of luck but there's just something about him that i extremely dislike...my rookie this year is Melo. he was badass in Syracuse and he's gonna be badass in denver.

edit: oh ya...and melo isn't an attention whore like james

I see he got 4 steals and only 3 fouls. But how did he look defensively overall??

I didn't have a problem with bremmer because most of his shots were spot up shots from james' passes or seemed within the offense - ricky davis is another story. He wants to be the man but those days are over. I thought boozer did a great job.

excellent imo. He got burned by christie once on a backdoor cut but I think he did a great job keeping in front of players and getting around screens. He guarded bibby, christie, and stoya and he held them each in check. Very quick feet when he wants/needs to. Most of the other cavs seemed inept on defense tho.

I love this guy, he's truly an amazing player at only 18 years old. He's got the body, mind, skill and (apparently) the discipline to become a superstar. I think his passing is the best part of his game, it compliments his athleticism and speed very well.

God, a rookie straight out of high school putting up 25 pts, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals in his first NBA game is simply beyond amazing.

Yeah, it's not like he played the best defensive team in the NBA or had any pressure or hype whatsoever to live up to...

You should have watched some of his preseason games. Besides his poor shooting, his court vision and passing owned everyone on the court. He is the real deal, just watch as the year progresses. He'll no doubt be inconsistent, though, that's natural for a rookie.

Jame's is far from an attention whore. He's pretty damn humble for all the hype he's been getting. The media is whoring LeBron, LeBron is not whoring himself.

I've seen 3 commercials already, and I hate them all. The sprite one, the one against the kings, and the stupid nike one. If he wasn't on my fantasy team (8th round pick) I would be praying for his failure

nevermind

Yeah, seriously, LeBron is the last person in the NBA that's an attention whore. It's the damn media that's hyping him up the butt, though after today even I am starting to believe. ;)

Impressive.

I remember watching Patrick Ewing's impressive debut game in which the Knicks lost to the Lakers. He turned out to be a really good NBA player.

But Lebron is only 18!!
