*** Official Lakers-Spurs Game 6 Thread ***

First

Lifer
If this series goes to Game 7 it might actually be comparable to the Lakers-Kings WCF series of last year.

Anyway, flame away! 😀

EDIT: Game over, Spurs destroy the Lakers 110-82! :Q

Congratulations to the Spurs on winning the 2003 NBA Championship. lol

i saw this in a chat with espn analyst fred carter and thought it funny:

Nayelly, San Antonio: I think you have forgot about Tony Parker, Fisher cannot hold him. Parker will get his 20 points and the Spurs will win tonight. What a game it will be!

Fred Carter: If Tony gets 20 and the Spurs win...I'll buy you a pizza.

The Flakers will win tonight with the help of the zebras calling picky fouls on SA and absolutely 0 offensive fouls on Shaq. Then it will go back to SA and the Lakers will win b/c SA is intimidated and scared....boy do I hope SA pulls it out though, I HATE LA.

Its pretty sad how these two great teams are slugging it out and most of todays talk centers around the referees.

Lets just hope that SA doesn't get rattled like the Kings last year.

I get what you are saying, these are two great teams. But there is such a huge descripency when these teams are at home as far as fouls go. It is on both sides too, not just LA. I can understand home court advantage but the key to these games are how picky they call fouls on those guarding Shaq and how picky they are all calling offensive fouls on him, that seems to be the key b/c it decides the flow and the aggression of the low post game.

I love watching the west play, only thing that sucks is being out here on the east coast its late at night, but im a night owl so i guess i adjust well, i wanted to watch it but im going to see the Matrix tonight 🙂

are the mavs on abc tonight?

edit: doh they are on espn.

Pretty solid play from both teams so far, and officiating is excellent. Hopefully it continues in the 2nd Half.

if your the spurs, you have to be nervous. the other games they had larger leads at the end of the half.

if kobe and shaq turns it on in the 4th quarter the lakers will win easily

on that bowen foul, he ran OVER fisher.

BUT here's my question. between two players that DON'T have the ball, one O and one D, can the O player just run over a D player whethor or not he has the ball?? or would it be called a moving screen??

on that play, i still can't figure out why bowen was complaining. he put his crotch in fishers face and knocked fisher down. how would that possibly NOT be a foul?
