I'm rather pleased with delivery performance this season. I got a package from some 300 miles away in less than 18 hours from newegg, free (ground) shipping no less.

Nov 29th ordered some stuff on Amazon with free shipping. Got it Dec 3rd.

The other 2 Amazon orders were shipped in 3 shipments. One shipped the 15th with 2 items from the big order I placed. Expected to get here the 22nd. The big order shipped at 1 am today and should be here the 22nd as well. The third shipment from them shipped yesterday and says will be here the 24th....
 
I got a package delivered by Fedex Road. The asshole driver didn't knock, cause I was there. Well, I get the door tag and call fedex to see if I can pick it up. Well, it turns out that the package is going back to the Fedex Road warehouse, which is an HOUR away, instead of the Fedex Express warehouse, which is a 10 minute drive from me. They absolutely refuse to just take it to the Fedex Express place. WTF??????!!!!!!!! Who the hell designs such an idiotic system?

So, I have them deliver it to my work. Well, asshole driver doesn't show up to my work until 5:51pm, or so, when we are closed. Call and complain the next day, and after 20 minutes on hold they say, 'ok it will be there in under 30 minutes." It is, but the asshole driver dropped it off in the wrong building. Luckily, I figured out which place they delivered it and showed them my id and got my package.

So, yeah, I'm pretty much done with Fedex.
 
bought something off ebay...didn't show up for like a week and half, asked seller for tracking #, tracking # indicated that they tried to deliver the package like 3 days after I had made the purchase and that they left a note on my door. Well I was home at the time they tried to supposedly deliver said package and no note was left on my door. USPS is just lazy in my are I guess. I had to go down to the post office and pick it up myself.
 
Tokyo Post is who I'm going to be mad about (DealExtreme.com) -- I don't think they'll get my order here on time
 
Eh, all the shit I buy get shipped to work. I love UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, etc. You know who I hate though? eBay sellers.
 
I don't have a problem getting my packages the day they're supposed to be delivered, I just have a problem getting them at a decent time from UPS.

This is what I don't get.

I live in Rock Hill, SC. UPS has a distribution warehouse here. It's 1.8 miles driving distance from my apartment. 7 minutes. I work in the afternoon so, ideally, i'd like my packages delivered in the morning so I'm here. The UPS truck doesn't come by until after 8pm at night. Every time I have something shipped UPS, which I usually do, because it's cheaper. You get what you pay for right?

Now, every so often, something gets shipped FedEx. FedEx has their distribution center in South Charlotte off of Westinghouse Blvd. It's 14 miles away, about a half hour drive one way. Why do I get my packages from FedEx a day ahead of their scheduled delivery date and before noon? Why?
 
Ordered a motherboard and memory from the Egg at 6PM Wednesday, shipped from CA... and it's already sitting next to me. No complaints here.
 
I had to delay my vacation because Fedex didn't pick up my package in time.

Dropped package off at fedex drop box inside building monday morning.
Fedex decides not to pick it up that day and picks up on tuesday. Because of the one day loss, the package isn't delivered to BFG until next monday instead of that friday. Hence, bfg ships out my replacement that now won't be delivered until Monday, whereas it would have been here today.

So, instead of going home to visit family on Sunday, I delayed the drive until monday night. Not that bad, but still kind of po'ed.
 
As usual, having good experiences with USPS and Fedex, crappy with UPS (they gave my Christmas present from my brother to someone else whi signed a fake name).
 
here, in hawaii, fedex is crap. it shouldn't be an excuse that i live in hawaii that's why it's late. They should have policies if they are late, they pay the receiver money. You know, ironically USPS is faster than UPS or Fedex...
 
I got the 3 day ups shipping from newegg. They didn't make it to my house on Friday. So I had to wait the whole weekend. But all wasn't lost because I get my $20 I paid for shipping back.
