Damn he's growing fast!

I live in Homestead, the wind is blowing steady at about 20mph. It's hot and extremely muggy outside. The first feeder band of rain storms is just a couple of miles away.

I live in Gulf Breeze (The peninsula "protecting" most of Pensacola)

Long story short - I'm getting out of there, for good.

I'm packing up now, leaving later today, and i'm not coming back.

earthquakes are awesome, but when they drop your house, it sucks. also there is no warning of them. out in LA they are expecting a huge one to come and day now.

does anyone else think the nameing of hurricanes is stupid? i mean they dont name tornados, they just call them tornado, you get the idea
Some storms spawn dozens of tornados in a single day, some of which may only last minutes. Why bother?

Hurricanes last days/weeks and you only hear about a few/season. Makes a lot more sense.

Isn't the MONSTER earthquake supposed to come anytime within the next few years/decades? (Which is a supposedly short amount of time compared to the magnitude of the expected quake?)
