After so many rain outs last night there are 20 MLB games today, with a whole lot of double headers.

In the AL East, it looks like Tampa Bay is going to pull away from Boston, and If Toronto Sweeps the Red Sox this weekend they will be right in the hunt for the AL Wild Card from out of nowhere.

In the AL Central, both the White Sox and Twins play double headers today with the Sox up only 1 game.

In the AL West, LA has already clinched but still must play consistent baseball to keep their heads in the game for the playoffs. K-rod should break the save record.


The National League has all sorts of teams with a chance to make the playoffs. New York, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Houston, LA, and Arizona are all in the race for their Division or the Wild Card. The Cubs are the only team almost guaranteed to make it to October.

If Twins win, which they most likely will, that wont take the Sox out of first.
