You would be suprised at the type of girls a guy can get who has self confidence, isn't boring and can have a laugh.
Girls see different things in guys then guys see in other guys, even if they are 'trying' to imagine if they were the girl.

In all fairness there's a few additional reasons:
1. You're personable..you know how to properly have a conversation and sell yourself
2. You dress well...people, try buying something besides target jeans. Something that fits well and see how many compliments you get out
3. You exude class which means girls see other girls attracted to you and raving about the places you take them and it makes them automatically have a crush on you before you've broken up with your girl
4. Money, especially a lot at a young age, helps
To be honest, the most important aspect is that you're personable and a sense of humor. No one wants to be taken out and just sit there in silence or have a conversation about the weather. Everything else, being able to take a girl to some place nice, knowing your way around in the bedroom, having money, and dressing well are just icing on the cake.
