I got the book. It's 652 pages, which is better than last time, but I still don't think 652 pages worth of action will happen. I'm not gonna try and read it yet, or I'll stay up all night, but I'll have it done by Monday.

Pre-Ordered at Barnes and Noble for free.

Instead, walked in at 12:30am into Meijers, enjoyed fruit punch and cake. Picked up my book, paid and left!

Total time at Meijers: 5 min.
Time it would have taken if I went to BN: 45-90 min (As I passed the BN going to Meijers, I noticed that the parking lot was JAM PACKED)

It was also 2 dollars cheaper!

I think a woot is appropriate right about now...

w00t!!! 🙂

Was at the mall today seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at 10:15, got out at around 12:15. Went outside, and there was a line extending throughout the entire length of the mall. It looked like a 3+ hour wait, at least. Anyone who waits 3+ hours for a book that they can get in the morning is fvcking crazy. I love HP, and I was going to wait, but not after seeing that...I'll just stop by around noon and pick it up.

man my wife has been sitting at barns and noble for the last 45 minutes waiting in LINE to et the darn book. oh and its 12:41 in the morning here. heh

After waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I get my book, meet my wife at the checkout stand and are next in line to check out. All of a sudden, there is a roar that fills the building. "what is that?" There was so much rain, you couldn't see 30 feet. So I run to the car(in flip flops🙁), pull up, and some Walmart guy grabbed all of our bags and threw them in the trunk, before I could even get out.

At Harvard Bookstore, where I got my book--I realized that the discount I could get at Wordsworth isn't worth having to meet the people who would give it to me. I know the owner's daughter, which is good when I need a free book, but bad if I have to wait (and so talk to her) for an hour--you gave the cashier your money before hand (if you had'nt aready pre-ordered), and s/he gave you a ticket from one of the four Houses of Hogwarts to separate the lines. The lines moved fast, because people didn't have to mess with credit cards, change, checks, etc., to hold things up.
  to Harvard Book Store.

Yep, exact same thing happened here. Delicious cake and some punch! My girlfriend and I are reading the book now, I'm on page 54 but she's taking a nap and doesn't want me to read any more because I'm already a few pages ahead. Man it was just getting good!

I took my wife and mother-in-law to Barnes and Noble where it was a mad house. Line out the door, people dressed up, etc. I recommended we skip B&N and hit Walmart, so we headed over there. I ended up being the one that had to sprint across the store to get their copies, and I don't even like the book. We were out of there by 12:30, even with the normal crazy lines at Walmart. By the time we got home, people were still waiting at B&N. And we paid $1.33 less! Ha!

hi guys, i just finished reading the book. got back at 1am, started reading at 2am, and it's 6am now. excellent book. sad ending. excellent book though.

do you expect me to wait till the next book is going to come out and then start reading? =P

cliffhangers never bothered me except for the five minutes after i'm done though. it's all good.

My question has been answered, so I'm removing this possible spoiler.
