**Official** Happy Father's Day thread

BAH...a pox on fathers day. My dad was a wife beater. He beat my mom until my brother and I were old enoogh to stop him. Last time we got into it it, he tried to throw me off the roof but I overpowered him and held him hanging off the edge.

Needless to say, I helped my mom get a divorce, and we haven't seen him since.
 
Sorry to hear...but...not all (thankfully, not many) are like that.

Love my dad to death...he's done a lot for me, esp. recently.

And I'll be taking my daughters out to brunch and looking forward to whatever they've made for me (hope they didn't buy anything...I've always like their hand-made gifts the most) 😀

I will be helping my dad cut down trees again tomorrow. I don't think he could have wanted a better present this year.

I LOVE MY DAD (and mom of course) MORE THAN ANYTHING.

They are like my saviors and I would do anything to make them happy. They have supported me with everything I did in life and there is no way I can pay back to them.

Infront of all ATOTers, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING DAD, YOU ARE MY FATHER AND BEST FRIEND!

Just called my dad.

Wife got me a card from my kids.

My dad's card is on the microwave. I really need to send that out tomorrow😱
 
i went night fishing with my son for father's day (last night), then
had a BBQ with the rest of the family today.

my own dad died in 1977.
