Almost guys. Also, don't take Gamespots review as the word of God... If it hasn't changed much from HL1, then it's going to own. HL1 was the best FPS game ever, so a comparison to it is not a bad thing.
 
Pretty interesting to look at the steam activity reports. They've bump up the bandwidth in the last hour or two, and the outgoing traffic continues to climb.

I think its pretty impressive how Steam is doing so far. If it doesnt buckel, its really going to earn my hard respect.

Agreed, I am already quite impressed at the progress made with Steam thus far. I love having easy access to Valve's full catalog without having to switch out CDs.

Yep... however, my DL hasn't topped 100 k/s yet. Not bad, but definitely not what I expected from my University's T3 line.

Yeah, He hasn't emailed me back, but I have made ir plainly obvious I would like the code emailed.

I always forget the fs/ft forum. This is off topic, but anyone have a usb powered zip drive they wouldn't mind letting go of ? 😉
 
I faded and made the decision a bit too late! I started DL of Half Life 2 on Steam tonite @ 6:30pm but it's only 40% done. Darn DSL slowness. Soon for HL2!!!
 
Decent article. Though it was bit of a pity story for Gabe and Vavle. But, there was good stuff and some screens were cool (orange level screen).
