Anyone else waiting on PC Grand Theft Auto IV? I still have NEVER played the game on console, or even watched someone else play it. So, I'm pretty excited for the PC release.

I also ordered a wired XBOX 360 controller to play it with.

I can't wait!
 
I'm never going to finish it (just like I never finished any of the previous GTA games). I'll probably pick it up when it's 20 bucks or so just so I can run around and blow crap up and run over things...yeah.
 
I made a mistake and bought this game for PS3, the jaggies and shaky framerate are killing me and the blurry graphics are making me dizzy.

Hopefully the PC version will have much cleaner graphics.
 
I've watched a friend playing and it looks fun except for the fact that your romantic interest(s)/relatives/mafioso buddies keep on calling you every freaking 10 minutes saying "Hey, come over here and let's go bowling" or "I'm bored"
 
I'm probably the biggest GTA nut here... lol.

Been playing GTA IV online since the end of April and have been waiting for the PC release since then. (It's probably because its my only Xbox360 game and I hate Xbox360 with the one exception). I can't wait to make movies out of all that insane MP action with the in-game recorder 😉

Oh, and if anyone feels like racing, hit me up. Xfire: Coldkilla9 - I usually am on for about an hour or two a night. Just be aware, I usually win 🙂
 
I bought the Grand Theft Auto pack on Steam so I have everyone except 4 and I'm fairly excited for it but I played it on 360 at my friend's house and it didn't seem to have the same "flair" as the others did. It was still kind of fun but was much more serious than the last ones and try to be something it's not.
 
I shall buy it right away. Maybe not the exact launch date but certainly within that week. Maybe I can find a special, $10 off or something... Circuit City runs those sometimes.

I doubt it is the perfect 10 that it got in some reviews, but I have no console, I haven't ever seen it played in person, so I gots to have it.

get a better TV. i played it on PS3 on my friends 42" LCD tv at 1080P and its not quite PC graphics, but i had no problem playing it

first thing i'm going to do is mod all the car specs and make them handle like race cars first of all, as i have done on San Andreas and Vice City. the cars handle like absolute crap on GTA4 and have a lot of body roll.

You can turn your cell off, it basically just pauses the story and everything else.

I haven't played it yet on any of the consoles. Been waiting for it's arrival on the PC! 🙂
 
I don't mind the DRM... at least theres unlimited activates - thats the only thing that angered me about other games.
