Hrm, well, the Skyline is fully modded. 700-some ponies, 9.99sec quarter, at 223mph it bounces off it's rev limiter (to be fair, I can only get it there with NO2, without, it holds steady at 222) and has a nasty habit of oversteering (intentionally, it's much better to have to correct oversteer than it is to slip off the edge into the GDMF dirt.

Also, anyone have suggestions on a rally vehicle yet? The Skyline is NOT one. It's great on the road-based rallys because of its oversteer and ultra-ungodly acceleration, but the second all that starts slipping on dirt or ice, it's over.

And a quick question for those of you with the wheel. Do me a favor and measure the travel on the pedals.

I dont know why, but that sounds like someone would say who reads lots of car magazines. :laugh:

 
You're gonna need the Impreza WRX, Revolution, or Celica w/ dirt tires.

Damn, I hate using the controller for this game. I might just get the Force Pro from amazon.

Yeah, I know, it's wrong and as such sucks. I'm going to correct the issue as soon as I learn the new tracks. Until then, well, it's faster this way. It used to be you only had to worry about that ONE corner with the dirt off the outside (Grand Valley hairpin #1), but in GT4 it seems like EVERY corner is set up like that. GT3 made me sloppy.

Edit: OH MY. I just bought a Saleen S7... Best second car EVAR. $20k in mods and it whomps ass on the Skyline that I just topped off (of course, at just about the same total outlay)
 
Anybody know a good site for tips, tricks, hints, etc. I haven't played the GT games since GT2 and I need help, especially tuning the car.

What do you guys prefer, stage 2 turbo or stage 3 turbo? On my Mazda6, the stage 3 doesn't kick in until waaaaay later, so it doesn't seem like it's nearly as much use...

I use Stage5 on my only turbo vehicle.
 
Damn, photo mode rules! I might have to go out and get a USB flash drive just so I can do photo mode. Having an interest in photography, it's a thrill to have all those options that are on real cameras.
