"A once-in-a-lifetime performance by Outkast"

Does that mean if I watch it that I'll never have to see them again?

Okay...Justin over Zevon?????? WTF is that all about? :Q
So.......I take it no one here knows/cares who Warren Zevon is?

Don't know, don't care :D
That's actually really sad. The Zevon song was from his final album, which was essentially an auto-eulogy as he knew he would be dead of cancer before he'd ever finish another album.

Oh well.....further evidence the Gammys are CRAP. :(

You mean the Shammys?

I mean, seriously, awards have recently been given to people who've never written a song, never played an instrument, and need computerized alteration of their voice in the studio in order to sound palatable to the American masses.

If you'd rather watch people who write, sing, and perform then watch the CMAs. :)

HA!! If there's anything worse than pop "music" it's modern "country" music. 1/4 of their stuff is covers of pop songs that the original pop singer didn't even write!

I think it's a bit of a generational thing. At any rate, Zevon's wrote his final album knowing he'd be dead soon after it was released. As such, it's pretty amazing. Certainly better than Justin "I love my mommy waaaaaay too much." Timberlake. :|

Yeah, I don't usually like this kind of music, but they are pretty good. Much better than Outkast IMO.
