I just signed up for Walla.com after reading a few reviews and so far its really good. 1gb storage and its interface is clean and somewhere between google's homepage and hotmail's layout. Obviously I havent used it very much yet, but I suppose this will hold me out until gmail is finally released when I retire.

I was given an invite here a little over a month ago, but haven't gotten any to give out yet.

Gmail has been sucking lately. It's really slow to connect (the "loading" page). Must have too many users for the beta, that's why the invites have died out.

Whoa, I haven't checked this thread for a while - I gave away a few last month but didn't realize the invites had dried up. My wife and I have 9 left - first PMs get them. I'm at work, so don't expect a response for a bit, probably around lunch. I thought everyone had one by now lol.

Edit - send me your email address to send the invite to. 6 left.

Edit - all gone. jmelnek, you need to send me your email address. Anyone who asked me before this time should get one - if your spam filters ate it or something, PM me back and I will resend your invite through PM.

If anyone would be kind enough to throw an invite my way I would greatly appreciate it. I'm going to lose my VT account soon and would like to move to gmail instead of screwing around with the others online. Please let me know if you can spare one. alcatraz@vt . edu Thanks!

Anyone have one left I gave like 10 away and forgot to ask my good friend if she wanted one and now she tells me she does and I have no invites left...

Anyone else having problems with Gmail? I can't log in... I mean, I log in, and it starts loading the main page with my mailbox n stuff. But nothing comes up, it's just blank white and it says it's done opening the page.

*EDIT* WTF?!? I use Firefox, and it hasn't been working lately... so I try it in IE and it says it needs Active X enabled. Gmail is using Active X now?!?!?? If they're going to use Active X, they can take their 1 GB of storage and shove it up their arse.
