funny thing happend to me though. When i look up my order through thier Order Status option, my billing address shows up as my company name, and my telephone # shows up in my billing address.

Either way, sorted out with them.

I ordered from United Micro on the 11th as well via their website and didn't hear anything until I called today and was told that this motherboard was "not out yet" and they would have it in 2 weeks... I asked if they had ever had it and the person said no. Annoying as its clearly not true if there is one on the way for you...
 
i ordered mine as well on the 11th.
i did call and confirm with someone (stuipid me for not getting his name) that it was in stock that day.

my order status shows as accepted. but no tracking number yet.

i wrote them an email today.

i'll post an update later
 
This is what i got:
Dear customer we are still back ordered on this board i hope we will get them next week.

Pretty messed up, if you ask me... The guy i spoke with clearly said the board was in stock...

Well that sucked. I dunno if I am going to request a refund... its still the cheapest place around, and no one else has it in stock.
 
Yeah that is pretty annoying. I was having them hold my order based on the low price but I may have one on its way in a few days from antares computing. The person there who has been helping me (Lili Greene) has been VERY helpful and said they should have them next week in limited quantities. Not sure about the price though but you may want to contact them. http://www.antarescomputinginc.com/
I have had a great customer experience so far from them. They tell you very quickly what is in stock and what is back ordered and don't lie on the phone.
 
The exact same thing happened to me trying to order the Abit AX8 from United Micro. They're basically lying about whether stuff is in stock to try and get your business.
 
They definitely lost mine now and in the future. Since my last post I have gotten even more assistance from Lili at Antares Computing. Refreshingly good service. (and no I don't work for them, just a satisfied customer) 🙂
 
I ordered this board from MWAVE on sunday night for $189 and it arrived yesterday. I hope to have it all put together this weekend.


Total was $204 with shipping.
