Will the 6600's perform better than the 9800 Pro while playing something like Everquest2? Will they cost more?

I have a Barton 2500 with an Asus A7n8x-E nforce2 deluxe motherboard.

i believe 6800 NU has 4 more pipeline and 256-bit of memory bandwidth compare to 6600gt

if the review is true, 6600GT is better value, but i would invest more for 6800 NU

So who's going to buy the X600XT? I think ATI is going to have to step up and stop using technology that stunk in the previous generation in their current line. The X600XT simply doesn't come close to the 6600 much less the 6600GT.

Well, their new X700 pro, or XT, is supposed to be really close to the 6600 GT, but the only thing is. It's price is set to be $250, which is $50 more than a 6600GT.

ati still has about 2 months before 6600 GT AGP version hit the market. I think they can play catch up.

i think they already cleaning out the inventory for 9800 PRO

I thought the suggested retail price of the 6600GT was $230?

X700 XT's new price

i love competition driving price down

is there any place get their hand on an ati ref card yet,

i'll go for either one of these when agp version come out

im eagerly waitin as LOTR Battle for Middle Earth roll out on november

I hope there will be an AGP version of this X700. And rumors are saying this card is a little faster than the 6600GT, and the Pro version is faster than the 6600 Vanilla, if that's true, then there's an upcoming war in the mainstream area that'll make us all happy

edit: Oh, and this card will be officially released in Sep 21st, so nobody has got his hands on it yet.

What kind of power supply do you need for these cards?

My guess, would be a nice 300W, or higher, the PCI-E x16 versions, don't require a molex connector.

Great to hear such good news. Now I wonder where you got it? I am patiently waiting to be able to buy a6600gt either locally or on the net from anyone reasonable. I don't think they're available in retail outlets yet, but anybody got a clue where they are available NOW??
