They did score 5 runs off Burkett, it's not like he pitched lights out. He left the game down a run. The Yankees lost because their pitchers couldn't find the plate, not because Boston shut them down.

RedSox Bullpen has been pretty good (especially last night) to say that least in this series. I have to agree, Boston's pitching perfomance last night was better than the Yankees'.

Hey, I'm not denying Boston's bullpen was good last night. But the Yankees scored 6 runs in the game. That is NOT shutting down a team. The Yankees had the game in their hands. Their bullpen failed them, and that's why they lost. NOT because Boston's pitching shut them down.
