By the way, would one of you talented tuners perchance post a solid E46 tune on your storefront? The two I've tried have both left me underwhelmed.

If the M3 is anything like in Forza 3, it likes to oversteer. Just how I like it. :awe:

I'll try to put up a "safe" tune before the race.

I put up a tune for those who don't have time to tune it. The wing kills this car's looks. 🙁

I put up a two tunes for those who don't have time to tune it. One is a grip tune with a wing (UGLY but fast). The other is without the wing, mainly for looks, but is also fast if you know how to drive. Be warned, the car is a bit twitchy at high speed without the wing. It also ruins the cars looks.
So how you likin that Corvette? And why the switch from the S2k? You still got it sitting around? Or did you sell it?

Sorry for the random questions hahah

Sold the vette a while ago. Loved it when I had it. So much power, sounded amazing, handled great, mediocre quality. The car just didn't suit my job at the time (1000mi a week of driving). I like to try new cars. Believe it or not, a lot of S2000 guys upgrade to Corvettes, but then go back. Like me! I have a supercharged S2000 now. I just missed the top down experience.

Really? I didn't nkow that. I couldn't see myself switching from an S to a corvette. No way. Doesn't the S feel more nimble? Sure the corvette has power but....how well did that translate around the corners?

My brother-in- law was looking at an S2000, C5 Vette, and E46 M3. He previously owned a turbo Mata and thought that the S2K was 1/2 a step above that.

i have an idea for next week: go back in time a bit

any car from the 1960s, B or A class

how does that sound?

Supercharged Honda high-five! I supercharged my RSX (daily-driver) a few months back and am loving it

I enjoy mine, but only at the track. The powerband is too much like the stock S2000. I am looking to get a turbocharged one, once I sell mine.

I'd describe the S2000 as a scalpel and the corvette a sledgehammer. They're both effective in their own way. The Z06 was noticeably quicker in cornering. It's not as nimble as the S2000, but it had unrelenting grip. The S2000 is a momentum car, while the corvette is all about acceleration and grip.

The S2000 gets tiring after a while due to the relatively anemic engine. My next car will most likely be a turbo S2000, now that I've owned a supercharged one.

I was considering the same cars. Now that I've had the Corvette and S2000, I found out I really enjoy the nimbleness and convertible aspect of the S2000. The M3 would be a great daily driver, but much more expensive to run than the others.

My buddy has an Mazdaspeed Miata and it's definitely fun and more tossable, but the S2000 is just sharper in all aspects.

I'm in!

I thought B would be best, since A opens up the shelbys and those might be a bit hard to compete against?
or we could just do A and see what happens 😀

fair warning to everyone, the stingray can hold its own on tracks that require lots of acceleration/braking. do NOT attempt to drive it on courses such as maple valley and expect to win 😛 it is by definition a rocket car.

I should finally be online tonight. Got everything moved and setup for my new job. I'll likely be able to jump on around 9cst if anyone is still online.

Haven't even played forza in the past month.

My understanding is we're doing b class 60's cars?

good to have you back, yes, 60's B class it is.

Sorry I missed last night. My wife got Cars 2 from the library and REALLY wanted to watch it...which is sad because it was awful.
