<< Yikes! Only four teams seeded #7 or higher have made the Final Four since the field went to 64 teams in 1985. That's less than 6% of the Final Four seeds over that time!

Oh well. Just as long as you're only doing it for fun (and not $100)... :)
>>

that would be 4 times divided by 16 years..25% chance..it's not that rare

What would be cool if the wolfpack made it as well as the Zags...
>>

For 1985-2001 inclusive, there are 17 years.
Over 17 years, there are a total of 68 (17*4) teams that made the Final Four.
Four teams seed 7 or lower have made it. That means that ~ 5.9% (4/68) of teams seeded 7 or lower have made the Final Four.
>>

You would have to multiply that times four to get the desired result as their are 4 each of 7 and above seeds each year...

Their would be a 5.9% chance of a SINGULAR particular team getting it..but their would be close to a 25% of ANY #7 or above team
>>

I just read and re-read our arguments trying to figure out what was wrong, since both of us seem correct.

Me: Historically, 5.9% of past seeds 7 or lower have made the Final Four.
You: A 7 seed or lower has ~ a 25% chance of making the Final Four.

These statements are not arguing the same things. We are talking about different ideas. Both statements are correct.

Attention Everyone
If you are a fan of some other team other than Duke, please tell your favorite team to bend over because they are going to be screwed.

I'm in as well.

There seems to be a quirk in the display of other members' picks. The teams picked are correct, but everyone has the same final score listed. It seems whatever you picked to be the final score is displayed as everyone's final score. In my case, I picked Duke to beat Maryland 84-72. I look at others' brackets and they have the same final score guess listed. Different teams, but the same final score.

An undocumented feature (AKA, a "bug") here? Has anyone else noticed this?

Looks like the programmers need to fix their code ;)

Man, we're screwed! It looks like almost ALL of us had Gonzaga going as far as the sweet 16, and they got beat! Waaaaah! :(

I had Wyoming, but my bracket's still pretty screwed. I picked a bunch of 9 seeds for some reason, and they got hosed. Plus, it seems that the seed-to-be is the 12th seed - won 3 of 4, didn't they?

But then again, maybe I shouldn't have picked Randomly.
