*Official* Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

I totally agree. This game made me feel how I felt watching the original trilogy. It was like a movie unfolding right in front of you. Lucas needs to take a lesson from Bioware.

I agree. I beat KOTOR both sides, it was long....but I loved it.

KOTOR was so cool. It did have that classic star wars feel to it, too bad the latest movies don't.

I got both endings as well, but you dont have to replay the whole game, just the last 2 hours.

Well, "Revenge of the Sith" is the best name of the prequel set.

Though, 'General Greivous' is quite possibly the worse villain name I've ever heard.

It sounds too corny for me. Just like the first two. They don't have the impact that the original titles had.

What do you know, people hate something Starwars EP's 1 - 3 related. Suprise, surprise. "Doesn't have the impact that the first 3 titles had." Oh please, give me a break.

I really really hope it is good. but i have a feeling that it is going to suck.

this movie has soo much potential. Its where he turns into Darth Vader and kills all the Jedi. Man it could be sooo fricken great.

That was the 2nd most popular name guessed by star wars fans. Fall of the Republic/Jedi was first.

I personally like a lot of other names more than this one, such as:

An Empire is Born
Ascention to the Throne
Darkness Begins
heck, even Rise of the Sith is better

All cheesy, but not AS ch eesy. Except the first one, An Empire is Born has a nice ring to it.

If any of those first three names you mentioned were picked, people here would have a field day with it.

there's no way lucas can redeem himself at this point-- first he screwed up episodes 4-6 with the "special edition" and now he's re-releasing them again. episodes 1+2 were so damn corny, just give up and let games make you the millions lucas: the programmers do a better job than you do

That's true. But it's not like they aren't doing the same with this one. A lot of us junkies like An Empire is Born. And since the twins will supposedly be in this film, having born in the title makes sense.

In any case, the title is really not important at all. What we really need is the news of a PG-13 rating. If Lucas makes this movie PG he's going to have to take a lot of things down contentwise.

WTF?

Fat Lucas couldn't come up with an original name so reused the name of Ep 6?

OR he could try and be making a reference to episode 6. Here, the Sith comes to power over the Jedi, where in Return of the Jedi, the good rises over evil.

I hope this will be on par with Eps. 4-6. Seeming as now Anakin is starting his move to the dark side, and the Jedi start getting slaughtered, I can't see how he can make it happy in any way. Hopefully there won't be anything "cute" (aka. Jar Jar, Ewoks, etc.) to take away from the darkness of the movie. We should see more stormtroopers, the move to Victory and Imperial class Star Destroyers, and the enslavement of worlds. Maybe we'll even see the relationship between The Organas (Leia's adopted family from Alderaan) and Obi-Wan develop.

my expectations are low.

I'm not really a huge star wars fanboy, though... I mean, I loved the original trilogy as a kid, but as an adult, I can't escape just how increadibly cheesy they were (which is not to say that they're still not infinitely better than the prequels, I just don't get why everyone puts them on such a huge pedestal).

That is also a possibility I have thought of.

I just hope people give it a chance and not disregard it before reviews come out. Or even trailers for that matter. I honestly think it'll improve on Episode I and II on almost every aspect; from better/more actions scenes to not having to deal with Jake Lloyd/Hayden Christiansen's terrible acting. Hayden can do the pissed off thing well (see the dead mother in arms scene), its the emotional rant where he utterly falls apart. That scene with Padme made even me cringe.
