I think the ref is bias to England.
Beckham just dive and he's blind ?
If I'm a Brazil fan I would be livid right now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think that he is biased.

I'm interested to learn about his reasoning behind the red card, though.

Not all referees can see everything the camera sees. He saw a hand in the face, that's a redcard.
And come on, where's the penalty kick on that?!?

Beckham fell on himself.
Did you watch the Replay man? Are you watching ESPN?!?!? The Brazilian player was on Beckham's feet. It should have been a kick.

Im sure from his point of view it looked intentional worse than we see it.

at this stage of the tournament...you better be damn sure about the red card...not just "kinda" sure...it better be blatant. =P Keep in mind it doesn't just cripple the team for this game...buit it also prevents that player from playing in the next game.

That's my judgement out of the replay. I'm watching it on Telelatino.

One of the Ronaldos is down. Eye maybe?

I don't think that it was that bad, although the English guy's hand did hit his face. Rivaldo is well-known to overreact to fouls. 🙂

Even to fouls or injuries that were not commited. Remember that mysterious ball that hit him in the face? Too bad it was invisible to everyone other than Rivaldo.

So Brazil replaced Ronaldo (forward) with a defender.

Seems to work well so far against the English, who are now playing a very offensive game. It backfired for Italy though in their match against Korea. 🙂

Ooh! Dangerous tackle. Could've been another card for Brazil.
