Up here in Western Canada, I get it through TSN and Telelatino. Since Telelatino does a simulcast with Univision, you should get it with Univision but the commentaries will be in Spanish.

I'm not sure about ESPN.

She's cheering for Brazil but her husband and his family are British so the family is having a little fight over this one. 😀

Hope the britains lay the smackdown, that way we can face them in the finals and show the world who the real superpower is =)
 
Going to Columbus Crew Stadium this morning at 7:30 est. There were 4000 people at the USA v. Mexico game and we even got a shout out from the ESPN annoucers. Its great, nothing better than 4000 screaming fans, almost as good as being there live.

Prediction: Germany 3, USA 1

Hate to be pesimistic but its inevitable.

Plus, I took a personal day last Friday and I'm using a half day tomorrow. I'm running out of time off at work.

It will be a battle of wills, what is stronger, English defense or Brazilian offense?

This should be a good match. Brazil is all O, and not very strong on defense. England is more defensive minded, and if they can get the ball to Owen, he could make the Brazilian defenders look bad. He'll need to capitalize on his chances. Rivaldo,Ronaldo Juninho, Roberto Carlos, et al can make anybody's defense look bad too.


I've been rooting for England since the tournament began for no particular reason. I have been rooting against Brazil since they were in Costa Rica's group and beat them, they are amazing to watch play. Very athletic and quick striking. Brazil reminds me of the St. Louis Rams of 2 years back, flashy Offense, but their D is succeptible to lapses.

Brazil has a much better attack then England. The problem with Brazil is that their defense is suspect. We shall wait and see. I know that I'll be sleeping during the daytime tomorrow!

Of course. I'll have my laptop ready and post updates when anything interesting happens. 😀 I'll be staying up for USA vs. Germany also.

I just say 11:15pm because the broadcast usually starts around 11:00pm with previews and all, and the actual game begins right on 11:30, or a couple of minutes before that. 11:15 is a good time to turn on the TV. 🙂
 
I'm rooting for England.
I wanted to watch this game more than the other quarter final games, but I gotta catch some sleep cause I have to wake up early. I'll probably watch the replay tomorrow or something

I'll be watching it.. Approx 1 hour until gametime. Then 3 hours of sleep and then the US game, then 3.5 hours of sleep then I have to make a few phone calls to get my data recovered.. I thought Friday's were supposed to be fun.
