I'm calling Florida and Virgina for Obama, NC, IN, MO for McCain.

Sounds about right.

I refuse to give up on the last three.

Awwwwwww you going to go way south continent wise?

Are you really this fucking stupid? Seriously? Do you think for even 10 seconds before you post?

I voted for Obama. It is a crying shame that they allow you internet access from the mental hospital in Jersey. I guess milk is still 7.00 dollars a gallon and gas is 5.00, right?

Replying to him just makes you appear dumber. Best ignore him.

Congrats to Obama..

Now time to wait and see all the Stats. I wonder if the youth actually "rocked the vote" and made the difference this time
the really surprising thing is that it appears Obama managed more than 50% of college educated white males.

Why?

Because so many people had the race card ready to go in case Obama lost.

President Obama. What a relief it is! (to get rid of the goddamn republicans).

Please, please democrits - don't make me eat my words.

I'm sure they will just like every other politician. Except you get to hear for years on how people are celebrating a "Black" guy won the presidency.
That will fade (in a few months) and we'll just start to appreciate that president guy.

Try to keep up, Mill, he went double or nothing. It's $10 gas now, $5 is so last year 🙂

I think it is awesome that minorities and the young vote were the tipping point for Obama (well, Palin as well 😛 ).

I pray that this nation can unite and support Mr. Obama.

OBAMA!!!OBAMA!!!OBAMA!!!OBAMA!!!OBAMA!!!OBAMA!!!OBAMA!!!OBAMA!!!OBAMA!!!

Obama will be sworn in Jan. 20, 2009 exactly 100 years since the founding of the N.A.A.C.P.
(according to the guy on CNN)

This is why I was wishing for McCain to win. I don't want to see every black talking head give me some useless history lesson about how some worthless stat that ZERO American should give 2 shits about.

Time to apply for a passport for the first time in my American life. I need to get outta here while I can still afford to. USA+OBAMA=USSR! I wish all the damn southern states weren't so hot and humid.

And Obama takes the lead back in North Carolina! Running up the score 😛

Ok, Obama won, I get that.

But what is the orgy going on now on NBC?

John Lewis fine, but then someone else comes on and start talking about Obama and how great he is and etc etc etc etc :gag:
Report the news you idiots!!!!

My GF and I just popped a nice bottle of champagne I've been saving 🙂

This is an amazing moment.

I wish it had gone for McCain but obviously everyone knew going into tonight that Obama was going to win.

It's now the Democrat's turn to shoulder the blame for everyone that happens in America, and 4-8 years from now we will be seeing the exact opposite happening with Republicans running on the platform of "change" and the Democrats taking the hit. Unless of course Obama enjoys prosperity and does well.... I don't find that likely, personally I think Americans are in for a rude awakening depending on how much of a "rubber stamp" Obama turns out to be and how much of a majority the Dems pick up in Congress.

The only thing that worries me about Obama is raising taxes, which we know is going to happen. Everything else he doesn't bother me too much. As long as he has the strength to veto some of the hardcore Pelosi-style legislation, then I think we'll survive for the next 4-8 years.

Yup.

We'll see how things look in two years. With the RINOs in the Senate they will basically be filibuster proof and free to send any legislation that Nancy and Harry see fit down to Pennsylvania Avenue.

The ball's in your court, now, dems. You control everything and don't have anybody to blame for what goes wrong but yourselves. You lambasted us (and, admittedly, sometimes rightly so) everytime we said "But Clinton . . ." So pretty much this board should be a Bush-free zone for the next two years. Unless, of course, y'all don't practice what you preach.
