Or make candles with it.

That sounds very, very unhealthy. And I like my eggs very not-runny, that sounded odd.

They sure do taste better that way.

My grandfather's eggs would almost float there was so much grease, LOL.

And.....cardiologists love people who eat like that. ;)
actually if you eat like that , then sit on your @ss on ATOT all day, that'll do it. If you eat that then go work it off all day, the Cardiologist will be as amazed as mine was.
Sedentary lifestyle is the real killer.
Food is simply fuel.

Very true.

My Grandma ate bacon and eggs every moring and died at 86 of liver cancer. There wasn't much treatment for liver cancer as there is now though.

It works really well if you have family with a large appetite for bacon. My mom would cook up a lot of bacon for us in the mornings on weekends, and then cook the eggs in the fat. There was so much left in the pan that the eggs were practically deep fried.

mmm

You guys are so fortunate to be able to eat so well. I'm on this nazi "organic" only foods, whole grains, fish diet for about a year. Makes breatfast tough since I can't stand cold food.

YES Bacon grease was the bomb. Tasted best with the pan at around 400F to give the eggs a nice crispy bottom while the top stayed sunny side up soft.

aircooled, I agree they do taste good, but IMHO, the best way to cook eggs is w/ olive oil, not much is needed like corn oil as it expands quite a bit, hope this helps your cholesterol [sp?] a bit :)

Zim Hosein I usually do use olive oil (and have no complaints with it), but I had forgotten how good the bacon grease cooked eggs tasted!

Yes my cholesterol need al the help it can get, so it will be along time before I indulge again :(

careful, olive oil has a low smoke point, so its not always good to cook things in it
