You'll lose if that happens.

Seattle has pretty much the same weapons you guys have with about the same amount of talent. Seattle has playoff experience and will have won a playoff game on the road. That counts a lot.
I barely give Seattle a chance against the Bears, and if they do win tomorrow, I give them maybe a 5% chance of beating the Saints in N.O.

I do like the Bears chances, though, against the Saints. The Saints might have the more complete team right now, but I'm betting with the history that no dome team has ever won a championship game on the road.
Werd.

But then, there IS the Rex Grossman factor to keep us all tuned in.

yeap. he will either have a great game with a 100+ passer rating. or throw 4 int with 2 fumbles for a 0.0 passer rating.

anyway this was a hell of a game. much better then the IND game this afternoon.
Nothing, why?

And, HEY, way to make the tough calls, there. sports fan! 😛

🙁

Oh well, I'll be rooting for the Saints the rest of the way. Good season Philly, better than I could have hoped for when we were 5-6.

As for FCC fine: she looks like a quality woman 😀

Props to Deeko! The one man who put his predictions out front, even if he IS an anti-Eagles fanboi! 😛

Dasm! My reply above was meant for this:

If he passes for 400 yards, I'll go out and buy a Rex Grossman Bears jersey, take a pic, and post it here. This is saying a lot, because I'm a H.U.G.E. Packers fan. If I get caught wearing that jersey my Packer license will be pulled and I'll have to endure years of scorn by family members. So I'm basically putting my reputation on the line.

I'm throwing that down. What'll you do if Rex doesn't throw for 400 yards?

Talent isn't everything. The talent on the Saints looks to be performing better than the talent on the Seahawks. Hasselbeck has turned over the ball a lot this year. The Seahawks would need for Alexander to have a huge game if they want to win.

I don't think they will make it past Chicago, though.

Can't freakin believe it...

Feels amazing... being a lifelong Saints fan conditions you to losing. Even after time expired and the teams were leaving the field I still was half expecting another Eagles drive to pull out the game. Saints just don't win games like this.

That was then, this is now! 😀

Holy crap Saints one win away from the big show.

Great game tonight, especially since I didn't really care who won which makes it MUCH less stressful!!! (I did pick the Eagles for an upset win though)

Congrats Saints fans ... now you need to get on your collective knee's & pray to your god that Seattle pulls one out tomorrow! 😛

LOL @ Syringer.

Also how are the Eagles still respectable? After all the crap and Jeff Garcia shirts and sh!t I've had to put up with around town this week I am glad they lost.

How are they still respectable? Are you joking? They made an incredible comeback this season, mostly thanks to Garcia and Westbrook. McNabb's injury was a blessing in disguise.

he's just a senseless troll.

Who Dat!!!??

Fireworks going off in my neighborhood and some people in pickup trucks going down the neighborhood streets yelling!

The Saints have been a blessing for the city. Everyone here is so thankful we have something to be proud of... I certainly am. WHO DAT!!

lol, somebody was shooting off fireworks before the game from S. Claiborne, right across from the heliport. I'm sure the pilots of the two helicopters I saw landing as I was watching the Indy-Baltimore game would appreciate that...

Ah, man, that game was just nuts. I thought it was funny how the crowd kept shouting for Deuce; if they had their way, he'd have had 50-60 touches. Eagles couldn't stop him, but you can't put that much load on one player and expect him to be the same again for a while.

Great play by Steve Weatherford by avoiding the blocked punt that would have assuredly lead to an Eagles' TD.

The Eagles had a bunch of bad breaks for most of the game---dropped passes (that screen that Westbrook(?) dropped close to the end zone sticks out in my mind) mostly. Then you shot yourselves in the feet with penalties, second-guessable calls, etc.

I could probably go on, but I'm tired from hanging around the CBD and the Quarter since 1PM or so, I'm hoarse, I'm probably delirious, so I'll stop.

Whodat!

Edit: One more thing: Eagles' fans, be lucky that you have as great a backup QB as Garcia. You could have had someone like Jamie Martin.

Didn't you lose your right to talk smack when Dallas got beat?

If I remember correctly, you were talking HUGE amounts of trash, then your team lost. That shut you up for a while, rightfully so. Now you continue talking trash, even though the Eagles beat you both times and got farther along in the playoffs.

I think if Reed would have thrown the flag on that corner touchdown the Saints had, the outcome would have been different.

On another note though, I'd like to see the Saints get to the superbowl just because of everything the team and the city has gone through.

I really don't care what the team has gone through, but I think that the Saints are the best in the NFC at the moment. We'll see how Chicago plays soon.

I never shut up. 😛

And, to the bandwagon fan above, I LOL at you saying Mcnabb's injury was a blessing. LMFAO!!!

Not to mention did not Tony Romo turn around Dallas's season? Yet everyone still hates them. Quiet down fanboys.

(I am a die-hard Dallas fan, always have, and always will be, but stop calling the kettle black).

BTW I'll take my Jason Witten jersey and go under the bridge now thank you very much.
