Unless all these TV additions are free, don't really see the excitement from it.

I think the NBC partnership is amusing, because most of that stuff can already be watched free on Hulu (TV shows, anyway).

Now they are showing some sort of weird "You're In the Movies" game that uses the camera to put you in a scene to act up.

As I said before, MS is showing off a lot of mass market casual games but the 360 isn't at a mass market casual price yet.

Talking about Rock Band/Guitar Hero now. 3.5 million songs downloaded every month. 80% of all songs on consoles.

REM, Metallica, Van Halen all coming to Guitar Hero: World Tour.

the audience is dead. they are trying to get reactions out of them and just get silence.

The press conference has already run an hour and 15 minutes. I'm dead too. 🙂

Seriously, the new interface, avatars, group chat and Netflix integration has been the best so far.

Yeah, most of the networks already give a pretty good selection of their stuff for free on their websites.

Now showing Lips.

A karaoke game integrated with Zune and is motion sensitive.

I don't get it. Developed by the guys the did Elite Beat Agents. Could be good. <shrug>

this press conference is very underwhelming imo, because they have hardly shown (if any) new games.

from a personal point of view i don't really care about all this other crap, i just want to see some new games.

 I don't even really care what else they have to announce. Netflix and the new party interface are huge. MS has delivered. Oh, and more Portal!

understandable, but it's just funny. they say some big thing, wait for the audience to cheer or react, get nothing, then just stand there awkwardly.

Yay...she's done. Now to Rock Band 2!

Tenacious D, Devo, Rush, Duran Duran, AC/DC, Bob Dylan....all master tracks.

Square Enix exec about to come on to announce FFXIII coming to 360.

😉 I kid.

Talking about the other three RPGs. Infinite Undiscovery, Last Remnant, and Star Ocean.

Same impression. If the non-game things imrpoved upon game playing or were revolutionary in any way things would be good; but it seems like they filled most of this conference with filler material.

There were plenty of new games. Lips, that movie game, the game show channel, and whatnot. They just weren't uber-hardcore. Trust me, it's not like Sony's going to show very much that's new, either (maybe KZ 2?).

Just goes back to my theory that you can't please all of the people all of the time. This 'filler' stuff has alot of people excited...especially the group chat/party.

Games they've shown of GoW2, Fallout 3, Fable II, Banjo Kazooie, Viva Pinata, Scene-It, Lips, 1 vs 100, Uno Rush, Resident Evil 5, a bunch of Live arcade games including a new Portal game, and some other stuff that is slipping my mind.

They seem to have concentrated on the casual set for this E3.

OH SNAP!!! FINAL FANTASY XIII COMING TO 360!!!!

"camera angle at the request of microsoft" WTF MICROSOFT WTF?!@??!

Oh shit. Huge blow to Sony.
If they wind up porting FF13 _and_ FF13 Versus, it could be pretty serious. And if the PS3 versions gets delayed, it could be pretty fatal.
