Holy Hell,

My roommate and I met up at Old Dominion Brewpub (some of you remember it from the DC meetup a few months back) and we ended up splitting a 133oz tower of beer. Not cheap beer mind you, but a microbrew wheat beer with a lil' kick to it!

Anyway, neither of us stopped at the beer. You see, this particular sports bar (I was watching the Carolina game--roommate was watching Miss St. vs. Oregon) actually has a sushi restaurant next door, with the same owner. So in addition to pub food and microbrews, they also have really good sushi and saki! Of course, that meant my roommate and I had to order a $20 bottle of saki to complement our copious amount of beer. Needless to say, I'm completely fucked up right now. In fact, I'm posting this from the bathroom, leaning over a toilet.
 
tenshodo13, I agree, and to that end, I propose I will post pictures of the beer and saki that I drank tonight!

Perhaps, but I started watching basketball at 7pm after work, and I've been drinking since then.

Curious...do you do the Meatpacking thing, or is that not your scene?

 
At least you didn't drive drunk... right? You called a cab, yes?

I'm taking my PhD qualifying exam in a week and a half and the professors who wrote the exam all admit that they probably couldn't pass it (they could each pass the section they wrote but could not pass the whole thing, there are 4 sections, the test is 3 days long). So yeah, no alcohol for now.

And for the point of this thread... its 3am PST and I've had 2 coronas, 2 steel reserves (8.1%) and 3 dos equis, a pretty mild friday night.
