Are you nuts? It'll run beautifully on that setup. Remember the awesome E3 videos, made on a 9700 Pro, that they ran back in 2002? No game that requires a bleeding-edge PC (a la Trespasser) can be commercially viable.

BTW, anyone ever read Masters of Doom? It's a pretty good biography on John Carmack and John Romero. It was interesting to learn what was going during the development of id.

Not to say that I knew it was fake from the beginning, but I did question how they were going to fit 5 cds into a DVD case. And if they were going to make a DVD case, why not just make a frickin' DVD to put in it?
BTW, I'm hoping for the August 3rd date to be true.

Yeah I finished it in a week too. I never knew that during the whole Columbine thing they had to get bodyguards because of the all the threats and protesters.

Oh I know. Must have been scarey times with alot of the blame spearheaded at them. It also gave me a better appreciation of their not so glamorous life. I still wonder how he's able to be married or how that relationship works out. I remember reading somewhere, him saying that she completely understood his "passion" for what he does and that one time they went on vacation to hawaii and he had a cray shipped there.
