I do. :)

I was jogging with my GF on Monday, and she was talking smack about how she was in such great shape because she had been getting up extra early to go running everyday (I run at night). So I was like fine, lets see, and I picked up the pace a little. Then I remembered her making fun of me earlier that morning because the first thing I do when I open up a box of cereal is look for the toy (hey I have 2 brothers, its an unconscious habit). So they I used my superior maleness and took off and really whipped her. :D She tried to keep up, but failed, almost had to carry her back. Damn, I'm evil. :D

edit: its was all in good fun, she wasn't mad or anything ok? :D

Hehe...I know I have this streak. Hell, it's half the reason I like cycling so much. Nothing more satisfying than shredding a group ride by attacking on a hill.....looking back at the top of the hill and seeing suffering faces is a good thing.:D

Well, I guess not then, I don't really have an "evil streak" at least not with the people I'm closest to.
Color me one of those boring nice people :)

I think it's kind of a "guy thing" as well. My wife never seems to understand my need to satisfy my competitive streak by abusing my fellow cyclists. She just tolerates it as I'm much easier to live with if I get some testosterone-laced exercise in every day.....kinda like taking your spastic, but loveable dog out for a run every day so he won't wreck the house.;)

I think you're right. Lol, it felt good though although I "forgot" to mention that part to my gf. :) I try to avoid doing it the people closest to me, but sometimes I just can't resists esp when I'm provoked. :D

No I don't.

BTW- how stupid is it to humiliate your GF like that? You won't be getting any for awhile...

I'm not like that, but my fiancee sure is. And to make matters worse, she combines that with an even more horrid affliction - POOR LOSER SYNDROME.

She gets ultracompetative, and then loses, and then is a complete bitch to be around.

Arg.

Even playing a round of harmless frisbee golf turns into freaking challenge to the death.

I'm hoping it sort of goes away with old age...but I dunno :frown:

I'll do nearly anything to win against anyone. Demoralization works great, I talk just as much smack as my skill at whatever sport or game I happen to be playing will allow. I think you've seen me at that too. :D

Goes back into our childhoods I think. In grade school at the start of dodgeball games, I used to scream ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHH! while charging to pick up a ball in order to faze the other team for just a moment. Sweet. :D

Heh, I remember the JK2 smack talk. :)

I guess we've narrowed it down to just the guys then. The girls don't seem to know what we're talking about. They lack that 'killer instinct' we have during competition. :D

Yes, yes I do. Thats why I dropped over a minute and a half off my 2 mile time this year. I have a friend who told me I could never beat him. So I did just that, every single race. :)

The thing is, though, my will to succeed doesnt work that well if someone is in front of me. But if someone tries to pass me, then I get pissed and will speed up and will NOT let them pass me without having to work hard to do so. Even if I am dead tired and cant go on anymore, if someone tries to pass me, I will speed up and try my damnedest to keep them from passing me. It pisses a lot of people off :) I like it.

BTW, yllus, I do the same thing. I am not an intimidating person: I'm 5'9", 125 pounds or so, and quite thin. But during team sports, I will yell and run headlong into people, completely careless about what happens to my body. People usually learn to get out of my way pretty soon, unless they're a lot bigger than I am. (case in point, last week in lacrosse, another guy an I both went after the ball. We body checked each other, his head hit my lip, and blood went spraying everywhere. I had blood covering the entire lower half of my face, and you know what? that just made me play harder ;))

yes, i'd let my gf's think they were going to win, come back to let them know that i could easily crush them and the ease up a little so they don't get mad.

I've beaten my grandmother at dominoes and then talked sh!t.
get mad pretty much whenever i lose.
