Only the Convert Set Item recipe will never roll or allow an ancient. And that recipe doesn't work on two-item sets.

Actually, I was just wondering if he threw more materials at the problem or more time? I am missing an ancient belt for my current build and an ancient Compass rose/TP for the Firebird push build. I need to level a bunch of gems too. I dunno, after I got the stash tab this season has lost a lot of luster. I did get to learn to play with a class that I don't normally use and that was fun. I do now have a bunch of inventory to manage again once the season ends.
 
I may run one next season, I just need to get two gems up to 65 for my tab, and I'm done with this season.

I'll probably just sit down some time this weekend and get it finished.

Got my stinking stash tab, finally. It's weird to say finally, barely a month into the season.

I did finally get an ancient weapon for my DH, too. I can probably clear 70, but that's only if I start fishing a bit.
 
If only I could get my ancient Yang..... got 4 ancient manticores and no Yang. Makes me somthing something!

I did manage a Grift 72 with a 2400 yang, so I'm still happy!
 
Upgrading yellows is the way to go. Hoard mats wait for a game where you or someone in your party has a yangs drop. Then start crafting.
 
Had a couple hours saturday and sunday to do some quality loot soak time, managed to get almost all of 4 sets. Other than a couple legs needed, pretty much have all for the arcane orb.It's actually a good bit more interesting than the previous version where you actually fired the orbs off. With almost a complete set (minus anything in cube as I haven't done hardly any bounties yet) went through and cleaned up all the journal book up to the set dungeon. The missing legs (and probably cubes items) had my defense down just enough to prevent from completing it while also doing all the objectives. A good amount of progress at least.
 
Looks like a new PTR patch got datamined.

Firebirds gets a re-work; Akhans and Raiment get buffs. Some new items, one of which in particular sounds very weird.

Oh, and Torment 13.
 
Also of note from official PTR patch notes, guaranteed keystone from ANY rift with increasing odds of multiple keystones at higher difficulties. 100% machine drop rate beginning at T4, with increasing odds of multiple machines at higher difficulties.

Tweaked grift scaling past 26. Hotkey to hide UI.

Some good stuff in here.
 
This season seriously sucking. Have all items for the 3 wizard sets but can only run the the twister build if i wanted to as the last leg I need for the others refuse to drop. Can't get the wand for blast or the one that drops CDR for archon. A wonderfully P500 levels later and still sitting in front of a nice brick wall.
 
So after about 500 levels, have everything for all 4 sets, with a smattering of ancients thrown in. So I head over to do the dungeon mastery to finish off the regular journey and starthe the hidden chapters.

Has anyone mentioned how annoyingly tiresome this gets?

Looks like I've still got to do a butt ton of gem leveling and then get a second conquest still. Oh God how do I look forward to getting that final stash tab and not having to worry about these later chapters any more.

For wiz griftin, still feeling a bit squishy. I realized I was partially screwing up my talk set and only using everything instead of 4 stacks so my killing has taken an improvement there, but still thinking if I start the 55-75 area i'll still be getting creamed.
 
Except that Season 7 is on PTR, more balance tweaks are incoming, and they've essentially eliminated the support role in groups.

It's still being worked on, even if the last two patches (counting the upcoming one) weren't as massive as the two before them. With that said, I do kind of wish there was another expansion coming up.

Worth noting, there are some easy conquests if you have the right group. Like the 350 enemies cursed chest one.

I will likely miss next season due to time, but it'll be interesting how people take to the slightly harder requirements for gaining the full set.
 
I am usually on at nights. Would love to find a group to run with. 10PM EST or so.
Just finished rolling DH with UE build. Just blowing through yellows to get Dawn for Kanai. Have sader and WD as well.
