Got a ancient woh and aether walker yesterday to go along with my unstable sceptre. I guess it's time to push solo GR and see how far I can go.
 
After getting some +holy damage items and using Cyclone Strike with its 34-yard rune, which is holy, I decided to try being a holy monk. Ugh... talk about feeling like a wet noodle! D: I ended up going back to being a fire monk, and even without some of the items that my non-seasonal monk has (pre-2.4 Gyana no Kashu and the Cindercoat), it's definitely a lot better. Although, I'm sure it helps that I switched to using a weapon that gives +28% damage to elites. 😛
 
Still no shield for me. RNG is really being snooty. No Heart of Iron or Compass Rose yet, either. At least I haven't wasted thousands of shards and hundreds of DBs trying to get those. And I either need the ring or the shield, as I'm getting damage limited in grifts.

To the point I'm about to just level a wizard in the season so I can have that Tal's DB farm machine. Convert all the shields!

I did get a heart of iron. That db farm option sounds appealing.
 
Out of Invoker, Shadow's Mantle, and Firebird which has the least annoying set dungeon? I am thinking about starting a seasonal character just to get the pet.
 
I can say that Invoker's is not bad at all. You'll need some of the supplemental items for a thorns build to buff your toughness/damage, and mostly proper rolls to get your cooldowns down a bit.

I mastered it with ~30 seconds left, it would have been a minute if I hadn't accidentally skipped 3 monsters.

Any set dungeon can also be run with party members. This lets you focus on the special objectives, and your party members can help with clean up or tank to make the special objectives easier.

I think you just have to complete a dungeon, not master it if you're just going for the pet. Which makes it even easier. I can complete Invoker's with nearly 3 minutes left.

I'll probably do that later this evening. I have to reroll an A. Curass, I've cubed my heart of iron. I am still missing a coe.
 
I am going to be on later tonight and I am going to need a rush to get my rebirthed barbarian to level 70. Hopefully someone can help me out.
 
When you rebirth, you lose all the items in storage and equiped on the toon, right?

Anyhow, loving the EB woh wiz.. can clear TX rifts in like 3 mins. What's strange is although my toughness number is like 40k or so, she still feels really squishy in this build. Arcane Orbit is much bettr for higher grifts.

AFAIK, when you rebirth a character, your items simply get mailed to your non-season characters and you don't actually lose the items.
 
I completed my season journey. I had to do it on my LoN Bombardment Crusader with sub optimal gear. My Barb is stuck on GR 70 because I am unable to get Ancient set pieces for MotE. I did a 69 on my Barb and had several 70s where I finished in under 16 minutes. I just can't get upgrades this season. I may be done with this season as RNG has been absolutely dreadful for me.
 
I'll need to get on with you guys, maybe that will alleviate some of my gearing issues. Been running rifts and grifts whenever possible, and these last pieces are not dropping for me at all.

I really want that stash tab.
 
just started playing again. are you guys doing seasonal for the extra stash tab and free set? Requirements seem pretty tough to unlock the extra stash.

I'm doing seasons b/c I guess I need that "fresh start" feel.

I'm doing a leapquake barb this time and wow, it's so much fun and I'm already PL260 something, and I just started a week ago or so.

Even though my paper DPS shows something pathetic like 400K, I'm running Solo GR50 with ease.

Can't to find optimal gear to really push higher.

Yes blizz has again made the season requirements to complete absurd and tossed the stash in that section as their continued misguided attempt to put value into seasons.

I"m almost never given the option to join any groups when I log in but I'll see 8-12 on often and average paragon is cresting 500 among them.
 
I am not in the AT clan. If I am on, I am usually doing something. My battlenet tag is Adrenaline#1529.

Our clan filled up, so we started a second clan with the number 2 and then it filled up and we now have a third clan that just started. The clans have a community channel that has around 50 people in it most of the time looking for extra people to do things.

Our clan has about 40 people on most of the time during the evening.

Last night a clan mate and I were doing empowered GR 40 just to level gems over and over. We carried two people and got a couple of the 20 done in less than 1:20.
 
Got a Heart of Iron and Akarat's Awakening! Just need to the Compass Rose to be piece complete.

The shield rolled pretty lousy, but the affix is near perfect. I guess it's bounty time for me.

Congrats man. I need the Justice Lantern/COE/shield still.
 
I require the Band of Might ring in order to complete the gear set I will be using for the non-set conquest achievement.

I googled a fairly easy way to get it, level a barb to lvl 8 and use blood shards as at that level, there are only 2 leg rings....cube it and done.
