have a crusader but just to hit 70 in an earlier season and haven't touched since. didn't really like it back then but the revised skill tree seems a lot better.

and OMFG, some of yall have done crazy amounts of levels already.

It kind of happens naturally in this season.

I'm at a mere 160-something paragon, but the free set let me immediately jump to T6+. I'm still missing 6 pieces for a cookie-cutter Invoker's build, and topping out around grift 43 due to lack of toughness/cooldown.

I currently rift at T8, run bounties at T7. When grifting, I gain between 4-6 plevels. And since my damage output is more closely tied to a legendary gem, currently, than my gear, more finished grifts means I can immediately push higher grifts.

But like I said, I'm currently toughness/cooldown limited. I'm aiming for the Akhan shield right now. Fully buffed, my toughness is 200M. But the opportunity to be fully buffed doesn't happen often enough for me right now. That shield is being stubborn, though.

won't update for me..... D3 starts, it says it has to update, closes out back to battlenet, then it doesn't update. I tried using the 'check for updates' tool in battlenet and it tells me 2.3 is the most up to date version

Probably the minimum level for the item to drop. So if you were to spend blood shards and get a legendary there are fewer 'other legendaries' for it to select. It might help you get an item for the cube I suppose.
Yup. To update, I got it on my second gamble on the baby barb, heh.

Man, that was one hell of an awesome weekend! I couldn't stop playing, haha.

I can't wait to be able to swap over to LoN for bell instead of Sunwuko. The damage will be real...er...est?

Pretty funny how I started out cyclone tanking and my brother on his wizard doing damage. We did a role reversal and things changed dramatically. His wizard never takes damage.

I am PL 541 right now. I have seen one gift and zero properly itemized ancient set pieces of gear for my Leaping MotE Barb.

I have spent over 90% of my shards on pants trying to get Ancient Earth Set leggings with Str / Vit / AR and 2 sockets. I have gotten zero. I don't start gambling for other gear until I get the piece I need and move on.

I have spent all my Death's Breaths upgrading rare 2H mighty weapons looking for an Ancient Blade of the Tribes. I have gotten every other 2H mighty weapon ancient at least three times and over 20 regular Blade of the Tribes.

I am on step 9 of my season achievement. I am beginning to wonder if dealing with this RNG is even worth it. Loot itemization is dreadful.

It's been, what, 5 days?

Maybe do something else for a bit?

I haven't even seen my sader shield, let alone the other 5 pieces I'm still missing, but I'm not about to throw a fit. I do mention it, though.

I have played maybe 25 hours total. I am playing a Barb. The person I play with each season is a Crusader this season. We have destroyed all content and leveled fast. This season has been a lot easier than past seasons.

STarted playing again, and picked the wiz.. not really liking her at all. FB set is so bad to start with. I hope it gets better as I get better gear. Really enjoyed the monk and WD last season, I feel like I should've went DH, but both my buddies are already dh's and I wanted to play wiz cuz I didn't play the class at all last season.

You're not gonna get everything within the first week. Don't stress about it that much, just do what you can. Everyone hits walls now and then while gearing up.

Just cleared 200 plevels earlier today. Cleared grift 46 fairly easily as well, although I'm starting to die once or twice during the grifts. While still missing 6 pieces of gear, never mind even having optimal rolls on what I have.

Currently on Chapter 5 of the seasonal journey. I have the machines, just need to run ubers and get all legs for my templar. Probably run them at TX, I feel good that my sader will handle them. It's the conquests later on that worry me a bit.

This invoker set is great to get going. Makes getting into mid Torment levels a breeze to farm items to move forward. Just hit PL 100 last night. I dont play as much as some of you guys.

Speaking of the Invoker set... Is it worth it to switch over to one of the other crusader sets? I've just been maxing the Invoker set for now, but I have the other sets in my inventory. Are they worth switching to?

If you want the stash tab, you'll at least want to master the set dungeons.

But otherwise, there very few sader builds that actually rely on other full sets. There's an Akhan's pony build, but otherwise, stock up on ancients and try for a LoN build.

I would love a Petsader, myself. But, I still need that stupid shield. I'm about to switch my gambling and go for a Heart of Iron instead.

Woo hoo, almost at level 50.

And the guy at paragon 100 says he doesnt play that much.

Been doiing nothing but solo bounties. Like the graphics of the new area when I get it. Bounties feel better like they fixed or removed some of the more annoying ones.

For ones like the death gates, still wished they'd give you indicators a hell of a lot sooner for them.

At this point, most in the clan would gladly get you to 70. Takes very little time.

There's not playing much, and not playing efficiently.

EDIT: Got a Justice Lantern, so that's nice. Cleared a 53 and broke 300 paragon. Spent another couple thousand shards, converted a couple rares, still no shield. It's ridiculous. Also got the traveler's ammy, so just waiting for the ring.

EDITx2: Got a Blood Brother. The extra block chance and damage makes a huge difference. I have a bare sheet toughness of 107M, and fully buffed it's ~850M. So far have cleared a 56 with relative ease and no real threat to hit points. I have about 190K sheet thorns. I still haven't found the shield yet, which is a bummer. I'm starting to become damage limited.

Currently running Broken Crown in the cube until I get a full set of gems. Once that happens, I'll go with Nemesis until I get a Heart of Iron.

EDITx3: On the Destroyer Chapter in the journey. I think the tough one will be the TX rift in 5 minutes. I think I can manage the gold conquest after I level a boon. Or maybe do the grift 45 with no set items. I have a few ancients stowed away. Whichever one I choose, I'll have to go after the other to get the tab.

I might try to get it (the gold one) in the cow level. Good density and slain farmers drop a lot of gold by default.

Man, Season 5 has been lucky so far for me... I started up with a Monk and scored the boots to give me a second shadow guy (I don't know the names of anything!). I'm also using the Nagel Ring to spawn the little guys every 12 seconds so with Unity I think I have the 20% capped damage constantly. It's funny but the first 10-15 levels were hard but after that I'm plowing through everything now.

Question for you folks, anyone here playing D3 on Steam Link? I try to open it but the screen just stays blank. I can't figure out if it's because I'm on Wifi or if D3 does not work on it... anyone have any luck? I'll be wired in a few weeks but home renos mean wifi for now.

Honestly, PL 100 does not take much time at all. You can jump into a higher difficulty rift/grift and come out with 20-30 PL at the beginning. Just got to be smart about staying alive and hope your team can somewhat carry you.

Damn, there's lots of builds and variations for the Wiz(probably other classes to).. there's so much to think of and do, it gets a bit overwhelming. Right now doing the arcane orbit DMO build. Just got a woh and in-geom so, I might be trying the firetals EB build next.
