Is this one of those things where it will have to be said multiple times that the stash tab is deep in the season journey?

You're going to need to commit to the season to get that tab. And it's not like the set where you just have to complete one objective. You have to finish conqueror, the penultimate chapter.

Those conquests aren't easy, either.

Did some reading of a couple of the major forums after looking up that info last night. Seems blizz has a problem with the natives getting restless. Besides the general growing distaste for seasons, it looks like only NA & EU PC accounts need to do the seaso crap for the new stashes. Asia and console just buy them.

I think there is very little positive that has been added to the game with the current implementation of seasons so the more hate and discontent hopefully make its more likely for that to be changed Orr them removed all together.

Well, I tried a 2 man 70 grift with a very well geared support barb. It started okay but he said my damage is way too low. I rerolled a triumvirate from last patch and got 75% damage (with a 100 damage limit per stack). I thought we could reroll legacy legendäres in the cube and have them update? Wasted 1000 forgotten souls trying to get a good one...thanks for pasting the patch notes here.

But seasons were in Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 would be a kajillion times better if it was just Diablo 2 with Diablo 3 graphics, duh!

The re-rolls are interesting. If the orange text didn't change, but a new guaranteed roll was added, you can re-roll and have a "new" item. An example of this is the Bombardier's Rucksack, which now always has +Sentry damage.

If orange text changed, or was added to an item, you'll have to find it over again. Because any re-roll will not add/change the new legendary affix. It's considered a legacy item, and re-rolls as such. I believe that means it won't even get any guaranteed affixes. If the rucksack also changed its orange text and tried to re-roll, I wouldn't see the +Sentry or new legendary affix.

Very few items fit the re-roll criteria, so having to re-farm is always going to be the safest bet.

P.S. Loving the new M6. Solo'd a 57, and even solo'd 54 without gems in chest and legs (!). Zoey's Secret is refusing to drop for me right now, so I'm toughness limited at the moment. After the belt, I'll need an ancient manticore with good rolls. I think I'll quickly become damage limited.

Question, once I have the belt, am I better off with garwulf in the cube, or should I keep pride's fall?

Yoko is my DH, though as of right now, it's not up to date. I have Dawn, Pride's Fall, and ORotZ in cube. Really just missing that new belt.

How much CDR do you have?

Enough to where I can almost have perma-vengeance. If anything, it's ready by the time I notice I don't have it on.

If I had a bit more CDR, I could probably freely cast my companion skill along with sentries and vengeance.

With Dawn and ORotZ, though, I don't feel like I actually have to focus on CDR at all. The only time it would really be nice is when I first enter a level. But once I have 5 sentries, I'm good to go.

Cleared a 60 earlier today. I finally got the belt, but I think I could have done it without. Damage is still there, even though my Manticore only has about 2300 dps.

But I think RCR is better to have than CDR for M6 right now.

crafted a fairly nice new ancient seismic 2h and the 2 pieces of earth set I needed.

Leapquake with seismic is a lot of fun and compared to HOTA it is right there.

I'm probably going to go earth set on my barb. The annoying bit is that I have an ancient seismic weapon, but it's pre-patch. If I re-roll, it will likely not be ancient again. And farming ancient weapons that I want has been a bane of mine the last few weeks.

The thing I like most about this patch is that I can play what I want. UE DH was okay for me, but I always liked M6. But I had to play UE to "keep up."

I've been trying the "Leap Barb" (Might of the Earth) build today, it's a lot of fun. If I do play Season then I'll definitely go with that one. I've already managed to solo GR60 with unoptimized rolls, and mostly non-Ancient gear (and no Unity either). There's a good amount of variation with that Set too, with or without Avalanche, with or without Berserker, different Ring combos, decent Cubed combos as well, and so on, it's real fun.

Additionally, regarding the Slow Time skill for the Wizard, I clearly recall during 2.3 that whenever I used it with a Bracer that had a given type of Elemental damage rolled on it that the resulting bubble's color would correspond to that damage type (for example: Fire Damage on Bracer would give a "default" orange'ish bubble with fiery particles inside, Cold Damage would result in a light blue bubble, Lightning Damage would give a marine blue bubble). Now it seems that they have "revised" Delsere's Set and removed the 2.3's damage over time within the Slow Time bubble (now in 2.4 there's increased damage within it but only if using specific skills, it's not a DoT anymore?), it looks like the bubble's color is back to its pre-2.3 orange color with any Rune selected, am I mistaken about that?

Damn... I miss my light blue 'cold bubbles', they were also much easier to spot on-screen for me and my party when playing in certain types of maps.

I'll fire this up and play for a bit this weekend once the season opens. I have one friend left who will play with me. The rest of my 50+ group has moved on to other things. I just cringe at where Blizzard has taken this game. It's so far off course from what was originally planned... I do still enjoy it for a bit, but I should really be playing this exclusively, not taking a break from Grim Dawn and PoE to play Diablo for a day or two...

What they originally planned was a slog where you geared through the AH and not the game.

I'm glad for where the game is currently. Still not perfect, but easily heads and shoulders better than vanilla at launch.

EDIT: Seems I need that visage hat in the cube, and use guardian turrets instead of spitfire. Then I can see where my current weapon caps at. I can consistently clear 60 now, and that makes me happy.

Is non-set the way to go now in 2.4? I hear they made a lot more builds viable this time around, but I'm willing to bet there will be that 1 build for each class that op's everything else. It will be discovered in time.

Not that I have an issue with that. I'm just saying it's probably impossible for devs to account for every single thing.

I can't speak on whether it will be "the" way to go or not. It will almost certainly be contingent on having a good set of Litany of the Undaunted/Wailing Host and filling in your gear with all ancients to pump that set bonus as much as possible. It's kind of a hamfisted way to go about it but I'm glad to see it nonetheless - there's a lot of powerful and interesting legendaries that just don't fit with some sets.

Also I poked around non-season and like some of the UI changes they've made. They really cleaned up the presentation of buffs which is nice - mantras stack into a single icon that expands upon mouseover and buffs from your own abilities don't create icons. Instead they display a horizontal bar over the related ability to represent duration.
