But you can reforge the item once you get the set piece you need. I can't imagine it will be cheap but it is possible.
That wasn't the question I was answering.
But you are correct. You can then use the re-roll recipe.

Countess Julia's (for arcane immunity)
No, it adds additional stat line to your weapon, a socket. So if that weapon naturally rolled a socket, you can roll that socket into something else, and then apply the Ramaladni Gift to add a socket.
Yes, furnace will give you 50% elite damage regardless of the weapon you're currently using.
Dayum!!! In a dilemma now Do I cube smk into scrim or furnace? That elite damage though.
Well it's easy, cube them both, and test which one is better 😀
Wait, your sentence is confusing. You know that you don't cube a weapon into any other weapon, right? You cube (destroy) a weapon and put it inside the cube, and then you can equip whatever you want and activate the effect of whichever item already in the cube.
Oh, you can activate de-activate whenever from an extracted ability? So, it's not a one time change deal?
I'm having difficulty logging in. I haven't logged in in a few months (iirc), but other than that nothing has changed. Same phone, same authenticator app installation, etc., but I keep getting the error that the auth key is invalid.
Nobody has a class picked for the start of seasons? I'm so torn!
Also someone ELI5 this new cube thing, I'm too lazy to look it up. I can transfer inherent properties between gear?
I'm fused on the 'collecting legendary powers', so basically if I destroy 3 legendary weapons I can then add up to 3 legendary affixes to a single weapon? Or something like that?
Does torment difficulty affect Greater Rifts?
When I go to the rift stone to activate a GR, it lets me select the highest GR level I've done. One some of the numbers though, it will say torment X or torment VI, etc.
Does it matter what torment difficulty I have on?
No. You destroy a legendary to take its power (the orange text on the weapon) using one of the Kanai Cube's recipes (it requires a legendary with a power + act-specific rewards from adventure mode cache from all five acts + 5 Death's Breath). When you do this, it goes into a menu (accessible from the Kanai Cube), which also shows all possible effects that you can create from the recipe (they'll be grayed out). From that menu, you can select which unlocked effect you want to "equip" on your character.
I apply that to my character or I can apply that to another 2 handed weapon?
