F8ck Kadala...

rings are now 50 shards a peice and for 300 shards, got 3 blues and 3 yellows.... ughhh

According to blizz, your leg/set drop on average should be 1/3 higher per same amount of shards spent with previous method. I've gambled maybe 5-6 2h weapons and 2 were legs.

As far as Gifts, I've found 4 so far. SoJ's I've found at least 5 or 6. They've really upped the drop rates. Overall the game is a lot better - it encourages trying different builds with how frequent the drops are.

I had to turn off quick join after a clan mate joined me in campaign and refused to accept a boss encounter.

That was annoying, to say the least. I'm just trying to finish campaign in a timely manner on my seasonal crusader, and someone joins my game and decides that they want to try and hijack it.

They didn't even bother chatting why they were being a tool.

That drives me nuts too when you have a public game and the joiners don't follow your lead. If I am killing all monsters don't just run ahead and take on the elites without me.

Your 1/3 is wrong.

What Blizzard did was raise the price by 5x and increased the chance to get a legendary by 5x. Where the 1/3 comes in at is the chance to get a legendary pre 2.1.1 was 1.5%. They increased that by 5x to 7.5% and then increased that by 1/3 to 10%.

A blue post specifically said that for the same amount spent, you should come out with 1/3 more legendaries. How you choose to arrive there is I don't care, but that is what they said.

I misread the post I replied to. It was correct.

I did not know Kadala had a 1.5% chance before.

Got a usable Royal Ring for my monk finally last night. Came as Dex/Vit/LoH/Aspd and even had a resist on it, decided to try re-rolling Vit for CC and keeping the LoH. With it I was able to craft some Aughild Bracers to pair with my chest piece and put on a 3rd piece of Raiment of the Storms and it feels like it a significant difference, definitely had an easier time of it in a mid 20 GRift than I did before.

Been leveling a non-HC wizard with a RL buddy, went from level 60 to 67 last night in about two hours of play. Five (yes, five!) legendaries dropped in that time. One was an upgrade, the others were trash. Why can't I get a run like that when I'm level 70 and it counts?

No socket?

Probably eventually, at the moment I've only got one gem ranked up at all and not even sure what I want to do with the others. I'm content with just general purpose Crit for the time being lol.

Gotcha.

I'm currently in a crusader mindset. I want sockets in all the things for Finery to be amazing.

I gave a quick look to the latest play your way, and saw that the crusader had mad sockets, and filled almost all of them with diamonds, and then a light bulb went off in my head that with Finery, I can have my cake and eat it, too. I probably won't use all Diamonds, but they will probably be the majority of my gems as opposed to rubies.

You'll want the diamonds for the added toughness. Since strength will just increase your armor which you'll already have plenty of and Crusader damage comes more from being able to spam high-damage abilities as fast as possible more than anything else so the extra strength won't matter quite as much for most cases.

Without two gifts I won't know if the calamity or the etrayu kills faster. In the mean time both are sitting in my stash. 🙁

Finally got my marauders chest tho so I can run my trifecta T&T.

I'm going to guess calamity especially if you can get it with IAS and hit the 4.15 APS on your sentries. I've yet to find a calamity but when if I go nats and get the 4.15 breakpoint I do a ton of damage.

Ehh.. if I start seeing AS gear I suppose that I can give it a shot. I suppose I should roll IAS on the calamity once I get a gift instead of % dmg?

It really depends on your other gear. There are certain amounts of IAS that greatly increase your sentry attack speed and IAS on a weapon is different than IAS on gear which is different than tasker and theo IAS. It ends up being confusing as hell but there is a spreadsheet that will do it for you:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...EOqtIds1ard020mgqlUTedyf8/edit#gid=1300358256

And then here is a description of the damage the different breakpoints do:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...XgraSITqQ-Gazq0QHaoorGKWy0o/htmlview?sle=true

I don't fully understand the breakpoints. Like.. what exactly happens at 4.15 as opposed to 4.14?
It seems more complicated than it is. Essentially the sentries only have a few different attack speeds that are based on your increased attack speed, the weapon speed and theo and tasker. So if you are at 4.14 your sentries are still shooting at 2.84 APS and you have a bunch of wasted increased attack speed that could be used for other stats. But, if you hit that 4.15 breakpoint your sentries are now firing like chain guns, spamming the hell out of your hatred spenders. You can pretty much only hit 4.15 on one handed weapons, although maybe with some of the new gems that increase attack speed you could rig something that gets you a huge bonus and someone how hit 4.15 with with a bow.

Cool thx guys. I've heard that firebird finery on wiz scales high now, considering that for my next build. Working on my seasons barb too. Got leapquake going but past T4 so far is rough.

Wow made a firebird set today. With crappy rolls and crappy items I just wiped a GR 25 pretty damn easily on my first attempt. Finally I has a T6 viable wizard.

Came in about a minute shy of clearing a 31 GR. Once I get firebird helm I'm gonna try running with unity instead of RRoG.
