So played for 20 minutes at lunch. Mage fist dropped for my barb. Got my 4th angel braid and some shoulders that made all my equipment indestructible. I need to sit and figure out how to completely fire spec my barb.

You're going to want Earthquake, Leap with the EQ rune and the boots that let you leap 3 times before the CD starts. Then farm up that 'of the Earth' gear for the EQ set bonus and proceed directly to T6.

I think I have the lut socks in my stash already. I also have bracers that give me +%20 fire to go with the mage fist.

Just go Church every Sunday and pray for RNGesus with your family and friends. You will get legendary quadruple set/legendary drops every 10 minutes.

I gambled a Harrington Waistguard on my Barb today and holy crap. The belt is bugged though. Seeing HotA crits for over 28 million on elites are nice. I still need more fire damage.
 
I hit 70 and I was playing a little bit last night. I was doing act 1 bounties and right as I finished the final bounty, I DCed (literally right at the moment I did the final killing blow). Of course, now I don't get to turn in the quest.

There's an easy and obvious fix for that, allow players the option to rejoin last game when they reconnect. This being Blizzard, I won't get my hopes up.
 
I haven't been able to finish a rift, even on normal for nearly 2 weeks due to the disconnects. It's yet another case where always online sucks monkey nuts & developers unwilling or not incapable of creating good netcode/squashing bugs.

I've had cindercoats drop, multiple axe of sankhis (spelling), many set necklaces (almost all have been trash - blackthorne's I think), but none come close to what they should be - like middling crit damage (40%), then I have to reroll int from vit, or crit chance is low, or there are no sockets (cindercoat) etc.

I can't seem to get a 'breakthrough' item which would be even close to best in slot. I get that this is RNG, but I think out of around 100 legendary/set items in the past three weeks (I'm a casual), very few have been usable. To get the +500 int from the firebird 2 piece bonus I have stashed my gladiator gauntlets which are 'good' but not great, even though they are trifecta.

In short, I'm having a tough time getting a seriously great item, and wonder if these posters who are critting 30m per shot are farming T6 in geared groups rapidly, or what?

Well, it seems that my complaining in this thread turns out good results - had a nice Moonlight ward, Andariel's visage, stone of jordan drop in a t2 farming group last night. I guess my problem was that I was soloing before, and yesterday I just started joining some pub games and we were plowing through rifts. I gave the andariel's visage away to a crusader in the group who was ecstatic, but the moonlight ward doesn't really fit my wizard build. Stone of jordan was a massive upgrade though.

Dinged over 1m DPS self buffed ;-)
 
There are serious lag issues with their servers. ALSO- opening bags is super choppy.
I got the T&T gloves for my WD and omg..... so imba.

PS - still not sick of the game.
 
Finally been doing some wow work last week, but when I was heavy into d3 recently, on evenings and weekends over the last month server performace has been a bit subpar.
 
I took the day off of Diablo 3 yesterday. Was amazing.

Not sure I'll be going back. Huge time sink. I'll wait til they make some changes.
 
I tried to play yesterday and couldn't. Not just the servers, but my internet was acting up as well. I ended up just watching the playoff games and seeing Spiderman 2.
 
Hmm... trying to decide whether I should "borrow" my Crusader's amulet (Countess Juliet's Cameo with +fire damage, str, vit, AS and the usual absorb arcane damage) and try to reshape it for my Monk. I mostly kept it on the Crusader because of it negates all arcane damage and returns 20% to you as health. He only has one fire move (Blessed Shield), which makes the neck's effect somewhat worthless, but my Monk is a fire Monk whose abilities are all Fire with the exception of Dashing Strike. My monk has a pretty good yellow-quality necklace right now, but +17% fire damage is certainly nothing to sneeze at! I also have a Ring of Jordan on my Crusader that I can try and reshape as well.

What makes me wince a bit when it comes to reworking those is just the gem cost. I've started getting some more imperials now that I play on Torment, but not that many.
