Had nothing to do with the crusader, more along the lines of yesterday still being 2 days from release.

But speaking of crusader and the new loot system, last night I got only my second crusader only loot drop. So seems the smart part of the loot system is working pretty good.

I've had a number of Crusader only pieces, but I've played a lot recently due to the patch.

Overall the new loot system is A LOT better, but I can see there still being a few improvements.

Sorry I have to call you an idiot. 'My demon hunter is level 37' Start complaining when you reach 60. I'm pretty sure your a new play on Diablo? I hate people like you who complains with only 5 hours of in game play time. Just saying. I'm not a mean person but I hate people that complains on silly things. Come on now.. your level 37 lol.

Thanks for the nice compliments. For your information I have several hundred hours into the game and have completed every level except hell difficulty with every other class. I just came back from not playing for a while, and started a demon hunter because that is the only class I have not played.

You can insult me all you want, but I am simply comparing that one character before and after the patch, and it is like a totally different game.

No, game comes out tonight at 9pm. So yesterday was 1 day out.

Well, whenever it releases, I will put down Dark Souls 2 and play it.

I must kick myself and finish DS1. I'm still at the start where I need to ring the two bells. I explored a bit and i'm approaching the bell in the village (top).

But I fear RoS will take most of my free time...

I'm really interested in playing with the mystic, I've been keeping around a number of "what if" items.

Edit: Oh you can't mystic old items? Damn.

I don't agree with cap, because all she did was go off when she read how you "hate" the game, but I do think you're being a little melodramatic. You're entitled to your opinion, but you seem a little confused about how the difficulties have changed, and the loot. They've been completely rebalanced, and you're insisting you shouldn't have to make any adjustments with a sub-60 character you used to play. There is no equivalent to the old "normal, NM, hell" difficulties...that concept no longer exists. It's now just monsters scaled to your level + (renamed, rebalanced) monster power to provide more challenge and rewards. If you dropped down to normal difficulty for a while, you'd be back up to hard/expert/master in no time.

I started a HC demon hunter after the patch to get a feel for how things are for fresh characters. For the first 30 levels or so, normal was pretty easy and I found pretty good drops, but hard+ provided a decent challenge due to the increased mob HP/DMG. Somewhere in the 40s, my DPS shot up so that expert/master seemed like a better challenge, except I came dangerously close to dying a couple times against elites, so I turned it back down (being on hardcore). Regardless, the drops I found on normal after small number of hours were perfectly viable for letting me progress to harder difficulties without any issue.

For the record, I hate oblivion and it's scaled mobs as well. I don't feel that way about this D3 patch though because gear increases your strength waaaaaaay above a default level X character. Normal mobs eventually feel like puny ants, but not until you've collected some good gear...go figure.

Forgot to mention, got that legendary ring that gives you a treasure goblin pet. Anyone use him long enough to see if you ever get good things from it?

I did runs in keep depths (lots of weapons racks) and waste of effort. Fun concept but Meh.

I've received 1 drop from him, otherwise he just steals my drops.

The drop was a rare that was decent, but still dumped it.

Like >half the people I play with have found Nemesis bracers now. WTB, they're so useful 🙁

At least I get the benefit when I play with them anyway lol.

I love those things. I found some on my HC demon hunter, but I'm not much of a HC player. I also found 2 plans for pender's purchase on that character while I was leveling up--the 1st one found (a level 70, blacksmith rank 12 plan) before I was level 20 I think. The 2nd dropped because of course I can't teach it to the blacksmith yet, so why not.

I wish I would find that kind of stuff when playing my regular characters 😛.

The recipe or the ingredient? I've found a bunch of Adventurer's Journals which are needed to make Pender's Purchase but didn't think plans were available. I was actually thinking that it may be a recipe you get automatically from levelling the blacksmith.

Oh, maybe it's an ingredient. I didn't look that closely at it, and I haven't played the RoS beta. Adventurer's Journals sounds right though. I'd still rather have it on softcore =).

Though, if you look at the blacksmith progression on battle.net, it seems to indicate most of the good-looking recipes like Pender's Purchase require plans...so I don't think they'll be automatically available.

I've found ingredients for a couple different things. Haven't looked up yet what they actually do or how many needed.

So if you find a legendary weapon with your Wizard, keep it undientified, place it in your stash, and then have your Barbarian identify it would it get Wizard or Barbarian stats due to Loot 2.0?
