It's pretty difficult to put a price on amulets, gloves, and shoulders now that the crafted items can usually roll to be better (and expect it to sell).

I think without CC you probably won't get much for it, if be able to sell it at all.

Toss it up for 2m bid with no buyout (or something crazy like 200m buyout) and hope for some bites. It's the weekend so now's the time to expect results on if it'll sell or won't.

I've found 4 of those and never was able to sell them for much or at all.
 
wow i was just about to log off d3 when i decided what the heck, i'll check the AH as i've been trying to buy an IK chest with 185str/235+vit and 800armor for about a month now and they've all been at 2bil, unless i want 600-700 armor. right when i searched someone just put one up with 185/243 and 818 armor for 900mil buy out as it had 1day11hrs left.

i snatched it up woot. i need it, but i'm debating on just flipping it for 2bil right away heh
 
i do need the gold, but 2bil is the standard price so i saved $ if i keep it.
but it's tempting to double my gold heh.

i have about 400mil left now if i dont flip it and use it. i only came into gold when the RMAH exploit was found a few weeks back and gem prices shot to 100mil each. i removed all the gems from my gear and sold them to get some cash. then re bought the gems once it settled down. so i'm by no means rich.

try to flip it on the RMAH. you may be able to get more gold that way.
 
so bored, i decided to farm all weekend for demonic essences and try my hand at crafting since upgrades for me are going to be 1.5+ billion each piece now.

this is the best out of the 100 shoulders i crafted

i've given up my skorn for now, i lost a TON of dps, but its easier to stay alive with the HOTA build with the 2+ attack speed

How the economy has fallen. I remember 1 week in, if you wanted 2 billion gold you had to spend $26,000. Now you can get 2 billion gold in third party sites are selling it for about $40.
 
The USD price of gold has fallen, but the economy is booming lol.

Also nice bracers. I've crafted a couple pretty decent/usable pieces thus far, but nothing awesome yet.
 
Decided to do some farming this weekend with my P100 WD, and what a difference that plevel makes. Found set after set after set. Just not getting the right rolls. 2 nats ring, none rolled cc. Been doing the bats meatgrinder build. Pretty fun with a vortex monk.
 
Yeah, I got quite a few set pieces this weekend as well. They were just all bad. Chantodo's Will x 2, both rolled socket but awful dps. Highest was still under 1000. =(

I have been getting awful rubberbanding lately, so much so I was dying to ever single elite pack I ran into. I just quit after a few deaths. I really wish Blizzard would fix this garbage already.
 
Damn you can get a 5 piece IK set for like 3-4 million now. Just a couple months ago I sold my average set for like $300. Now I'm about to get regeared for a couple cents, lolol.

Of course the smart ones were the ones that sold all their crappy rare gear that couldn't even clear Act 1 for $3000+ the week RMAH went live.
 
Exclusive items for D3 on PS3/4. =( I really wouldn't mind some of those items. A Kratos (from God of War series for those that don't know) themed mighty weapon would be awesome.

I wish they would allow me to change how armor looks already. I hate the garbage skirt my barb wears and the shoulders look stupid. I am thinking of switching back to Vile Wards, just because I dislike the look. Why am I so vain about my characters? I literally leveled a new monk because the female monk looks awful.
 
I love my female monk lol, but yeah, there are actually some really cool looking lower level sets of gear that you don't actually get to see much of. My HC barb died at 55 and looks awesome in my hall of heroes with his elephant shoulders/chestpiece. Something like GW2's transmutation stones would be a nice addition.

PS3 version has no AH? Does it even 'talk' to PC version or are they completely separate?

I have to say I started getting bored with SC on my Wizard, only MP6/MP7 capable, I enjoy MP3 in groups and MP4 solo for speed of Archon farming. I played about 10 paragon levels and started getting bored again.

Just started up a HC barb (level 35) and am in NM, most fun I've had with the game, when you know if you die you are done it brings a whole new perspective, I understand the d/c deaths suck but my connection is pretty good and I'll test it out in SC for 10-15 mins once I get to 60 and get some good gear. If anyone wants to play HC pm me, my tag is Eggochiggo#1374

I don't know if it will have an AH or not. I would imagine the versions are completely separate. PC, Xbox, and PS3/4.

I've been having fun in MP8 public games. Stuff dies too quickly in MP7 and I've noticed the drops are consistently higher rolls with MP8+.

I really need to upgrade my WKL though, and this is where I'm torn. My LoH is too low and I've been trying and trying to roll an amulet with it on it that's close to or better than what I have, but it's just not happening. So I'm trying to decide if I need LS on the WKL or not. Decisions, decisions. >.<
 
Change up your skills and gear a bit to try something else with your class to refresh your interest. I do that every now and then, but adhere to those few things that are tested and true for being effective in exp'ing. Of course, the limits there are your pocket book, but you can always do something on a budget if you look carefully enough. ^^

what are the stats on your WKL?

i have an 875 dps, 25% lightning, 75% CD and 2.2% LS one

My monk is para45 and I solo MP8 pretty comfortably, working my DPS up to jump to 9 eventually and I couldn't live (literally) without Life Steal on my WKL. You could probably get away with it if you use a Life Steal main hand, but I think you absolutely need at least one source of it; I've actually been using Transcendence passive lately since I currently have 0 LoH and I'll occasionally have trouble with reflect or certain AoE damage. Considering trying out the 20% damage reduction when you deal damage, but I think that won't be necessary eventually.
