By the way, Avg damage is very highly underrated. My WD ammy has 35-40 avg damage, 8 cc, 99 cd, 230 int, socket.

I've had friends show me their int trifectas, and most would not give me a damage boost over my current one.

I agree. I'm not sure how good my old amulet was but getting a 20k DPS increase from this one I found was pretty nice.

Only underrated to the common player. All of the friends I have that are 100k+ DPS put a lot of value into average damage, more-so over main stat sometimes (depending on the amounts). It builds DPS much more confidently that CC/CD. IAS+main stat+average damage = excellent floor DPS, while CC/CD is great for that wow factor of "omg7digitdamage". Also, the better your floor DPS, the more reliable your survivability will be.
 
Well I put the amulet up for sale on the RMAH to see if I can make some cash off of it. This whole time I've been playing Diablo 3 I've been using a 7200 RPM HDD and it's always felt choppy. I managed to snag a SSD yesterday from work to take home to test and it's a night/day difference as far as gameplay.

So hopefully I can make some cash from the amulet to go toward a SSD upgrade lol.

Like I said. the latency response meter in game was always green for me during heavy lag in game. If your meter is yellow or red in game then network latency is more likely the culprit....

I would have horrible chop with big battles going on and I'm running an i5-2500k, 8gb RAM, and a GTX 460. The only thing that fixed my issue was using a SSD.

I play from a SSD and I still get the choppy from time to time in Act 3 mostly.

Hmmm, interesting. I'm only playing at 1680x1050 so hopefully I don't have any issues when I get my SSD in but we shall see.

yeah, sorry man. I bought one with similar stats and no AR for 1 mil or so for my wiz about a month ago.

70 AR on that thing, shoots the price up to 100+ mil.

Yeap.

I found a Tals chest yesterday with 180 int, 80 vit, 48 AR. Trying to sell for 25m. If it doesn't sell, then to my wiz it goes as well.

Also found a wkl with 880 dps, 97cd, socket. Increases my monk dps nicely, but I wanna improve my main WD more, so trying to sell that for 150m or so.

what % lightning skill dmg? if it is +25% then it's probably one of the best WKL i've seen ever
 
It's 22 lightning damage, and it's actually the highest dps wkl with at least 80 cd + socket on the market. The only one with 97% cd, and it even has higher lightning damage than all the others on the market. Someone bid on it at 150m already, I hope I didn't start the pricing off too low and it ends up selling for that amount 🙁.

Then again, it's just a game.. lol

DPS on WKL is not as important as the % lightning skill damage and CD/socket or socket/LS. if it's low DPS, use it as your offhand weapon with a strong black dps mainhand weapon. cyclone is based off of your main hand damage and accounts for about 65% of your total damage when using WKL.
 
I don't think I've seen a WKL with "high" dps. I have always wanted to try out a good one. However, I'd have to drop either my EF and lose the APS or drop my spear and lose CD and life steal.

haha well shit, i've just been selling my WKL's super cheap since i never looked at the % lightning skill damage ugh......now i know
 
I've probably bought and resold one of yours then, stag3. 😛 I don't do that often, but I have experimented with a couple of them and resold later on for a decent profit, heh.

I prefer my Azturasq with EF as my offhand. The IAS+attack speed bonus from EF is amazing for survivability. Plus, the spirit regen and stun from Azturasq is simply awesome. When I run ubers, that stun makes a world of difference. I also use SSS with pandemonium rune for the 7s stun, and that allows for rezzes while fighting and makes those fights incredibly easy.
 
man i don't see how this game can last much longer, not much sells on the AH unless you have godly items, and even then what does that get you? let's you farm a few seconds faster? .....

Ya, I'm getting pretty burnt out on it and I don't play that often.

I've decided the AH is what ruined it for me. I miss actually farming for gear and being able to use it. Now all I do is grind for XP, sell/salvage all of my items, and check the AH.
