You think so?
Ok well, when I go home today, if it hasn't sold, I'll cancel it and put it up with no buyout and starting bid of 25M.
yea the only thing that will do is benefit you if the item is worth more than 25m.
Let the market decide it's fate.

It's because of sharp shooter. It's one shot dps when it builds upto 100% crit his average dps is probably 70-80kish i think.
Yeah I'm starting to think doing no buyout's is the way to go. Sure I may have to wait an extra 1-1.5 days, but it might net me more in the end.
Na, I'm at 83k dps with worse items. He's gotta be at least over 100k dps without sharpshooter.
And let me get this straight... you can choose more than one skill from a skill class at once? Meaning, I can choose two skills from the same discipline?
That DH has two skills from the fourth class: Cluster Arrow and Rain of Vengeance.
I've sold quite a few things for super cheap around the starting bid because I'm guessing that no one noticed it until the last few minutes before the auction closed. With a "no buyout", you run the risk of losing out on impulse buys.
i know D3 has its fair share of problems, most noticeable the RMAH and inferno difficulty being way too hard. my question is, do i have my moneys worth playing the game upto inferno difficulty.
whats a good average amount of time playing it enjoyable upto the hardest difficulty on one toon?

If you are complaining about both AH then that is good but only complaining about the RMAH is pointless.
Inferno is not hard and has not been for a while.
I cleared inferno from level one in less than twenty four hours on two characters.
Yes, in your gameplay settings I believe. Set it to elective mode.
Holy. Shit.
Almost 400 hours in and I never knew this. I thought people were on drugs when they posted their character builds and two skills from the same class were being used.
I'm a bit sad, but happy that I can finally get rid of class 4 skills that I never really use as a DH.

Haha, I didn't know this either, you aren't alone.

lol @ imp! thats unbelievable man!
I have that... how do you do it though... I'm at work so I cant try it.
Just pick one ctl then another or what?
Thanks.
Okay everyone, stop the presses: I found my first set item after about 400 hours.
It was an Natalya's ring with stats:
- 200 LoH
- 200 Life regen
- +9% IAS
- 140 dex
- 30 vit
Closest ring for bid is at 75 million, I started it at 65 million. Fingers crossed?
Ho-lee sheet.
Someone bought the ring out for the 115 million buyout I set it at. I now have 97 million gold more than last night.
And man I feel stupid about the skills thing... I checked out the options and turned it off once, then turned it off because I thought it was annoying that I could drag the boxes around.
8m is budget gear?
Yeah....well, that about sums up why I stopped playing. I've never had even 2m.
Blue post saying monks have most potential for improvement. Monk changes possibly incoming
Quote
While there are currently solid build options for monks both in 1.0.4 and 1.0.5, and while top-tiered monks using very specific builds can achieve respectable damage, the class isnt yet where we want it to be. Were definitely aware of your concerns, and we agree that additional improvements should be made, especially with regards to play style options, build diversity, and the performance and budget of monk resources. We feel that the monk has the most potential for improvement, and we have plans to make more changes to the monk after 1.0.5. The sort of changes wed like to make are not simple number tweaks, though.
Ultimately, we want to make monks more engaging to play and really immerse players in what it would feel like to be a fast-punching martial arts master. We have a number of ideas on how to accomplish that for the future, and we want to provide improved passives, particularly passives that can be used for a more offensively-minded monk. I also mentioned two other possible changes were considering in my previous post, but those certainly arent the only changes were looking into. They address another area we feel could use improvement, and thats giving players some additional, more active play style options.
We have more improvements planned and theyre still only in the discussion phase, so were not really in a place right now to talk about them in much detail, but were actively working towards solutions to address many key concerns.

Here's how fucked up this game is:
I'm a barb, I was getting ass raped constantly. I decided to try a WW build. I only had a couple mil. to spend. I can't even afford to make a good WW build, but it's better than nothing. The next day blizz announces the nerf to WW. So I have no money, I have no build that's viable (since my original build was getting ass raped, and my WW build still needs items to be decent), and no way to advance any further in the game.
