I farm act1 solo as I just hit 60 and could only afford budget gear. I actually got the spear drop while questing through act2 for the first time. I don't see farming act3 to be a problem once I get a decent offhand and actually unlock it. I cant believe i wasted so much time on Barb when wizard is just easy mode. Force armor with the prismatic rune plus my int gives me as much resists as my barb that has 60+ AR on every piece of gear minus jewelry

War Cry + Impunity is 20% armor + 50% AR bonus. Considering the barb main stat adds to armor I'm quite sure the total reduction is more than Energy Armor + Prismatic. Force armor is a rune btw and not the name of the skill.

No, that was just speculation on price changes by Judgement.

I'm pretty sure prices will drop across the board given all items will drop with better stats. Only the absolute top tiered affixes with ideal stats items will still be ridiculously unattainable for most (the way it should be).

Ohh..i thought that in the new patch, all 61-62 item levels can now roll max i63 values while those ilvl 63s would remain the same.
 
I just started the game and have been reading some of this thread and haven't seen much mention of crafting being worthwhile. Is this because the ah is cheaper and easier to find what you want?
I wasn't going to use the ah because it makes the game seem like a gold rush and takes out the randomization, but it sounds like I wouldn't do well in later difficulties with out buying from the ah.

You can clear Normal/Nightmare/Hell without it no problem. Once you start to progress into inferno (though A1 may be doable if you farm a bit on your own, hard to say) it's definitely the best way to get what you need.

Doubt all you want, my experience is that my wizard handles content more easily then my decked out barb.

Sorry for the mix up on skill names.
 
Got my first rmah sell couple days ago.

Manticore ~1100 dps
275 dex
~180 vit
11% ias
socket
some other stats I can't remember.

Figured wth, I posted on rmah for $99.00 sold it within a few hours. maybe it was worth more =(

level 14 paragon, no stacks when it dropped.
850 resis all barb before my shout. unknown dps cause he's a WW build..does a crap load though. Dropped while soloing A4 inferno.
Died on Diablo twice before killing him. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

was it 1 socket or 2 socket ?
 
How do you get all these items.. I have yet to find any set items.

I have paragon level 13 witchdoctor, can't find crap. I have 150MF, trying to get 200MF..

Luck. I found my first set item at paragon 18.

I found some set plans for some l40 junk a while back... never crafted anything with them.

Depends a little on luck and your level.

There are a few times where it's slow going in A3 as I join a group where I'm the strongest player in a team of 2 level 2 paragons and an AFK. There are other times where I'm the weakest and essentially get to just walk through the act behind the train of destruction.
