Guess I'll try and get to that number then. I want Zunimasa's armor but it's like 50mil a piece, 100+ mil for the ones with AWESOME stats. Gonna be a while 🙁
 
So what do you guys do with all those spare rare's? They hardly sell on the AH and they take up space. Do you just sell them to AI vendors?

Yup - vendor. A typical run consists of A3.3 in public games (through the 3 levels). The only stopping point is when the bag is full, hit TP, identify all items, glance over them all quick-like for anything that's worth keeping (which has been severely refined with how much I've kept and not been able to sell on the AH/RMAH), put those on bottom of bag, vendor everything else.

Like I said earlier, I've filled my vault about 5 times doing this and had to go through and vendor more and more items since absolutely nothing is selling.

You 'can' salvage all of your rares for crafting materials, but they barely have much value compared to just vendoring for gold. Then there's the whole delay in sale and cut of the AH anyways. Not worth your time. :/

Well i got long ways to go till plvl 100, and i would like to farm a bit more to make some more extra $ from RMAH (earned almost 1k$), then maybe try to sell the account. 🙂

Even with 900 regen + 600 LoH + 714 resists there's no way that'd be survivable against elites (and especially champions) spamming arcane, desecration, molten, etc... I am speaking from a monk's point of view though, so what do I know. >.>
 
Are people still playing this? I played through once, watched the ending, and haven't been back in, guess that was a few days after launch. Is there a point to playing it over and over, does anything else happen?
 
So first time really using the RMAH earlier tonight. When I found an item I wanted I hit "Pay with Paypal" and instantly, I was charged for the item. It didn't open a browser, I didn't login to my paypal account, and it didn't give me any option about which source the money came from. I was pretty surprised.

It just automatically took money from my Paypal account without me authorizing anything. Not that it matters a ton because I got the item I wanted for the price I wanted...But I don't like that it didn't ask me to confirm my money source, or verify my Paypal login. It just automatically chose an old bank account I had with my credit card as a backup. My Paypal account is linked with my Blizzard profile at their website, but I still don't like them charging me just at the click of a button without any payment options or authorization of any kind. Oh well, no big deal, just found it strange.

Sure it is. Do it all the time depeding what build I am using. If you do enough damage you dont need tons of LoH/LS.

I think when you first bind your paypal account to your battle.net account it pre-empts all that. Since the RMAH requires an authenticator I think they consider it secure 'enough' at least; I'm not sure about the funding source though, might simply use default Paypal setting.

I play WW Barb and 600 LOH is enough if you have enough defense. The only time i die is when i play stupid (lazy avoiding those beams, desecrate and poison). The dodge chance helps alot, i built my charcater before with only 10% dodge and 23% is a huge difference and with the high armor and decent resist it should be good.

The screenshot i posted is with battlegear on, i normally run with mf items to reach 300 with nv.

I don't have any Life Steal, im still looking for that offhand that would give me LOH/LS/Crit Dmg still no luck though. But i am willing to drop LoH for Lifesteal/Crit Damage if the stats are right. 🙂 I'm thinking the 260k crits i see from bash would heal me a ton more than LoH

It can even though LS is nerfed in A3 and 4 Inferno. I also notice that cleave w/ broadsweep can give you pretty good heals on a crit with decent lifesteal.

how did you get your DPS that high??? What are you using? What character? I'm stuck at 25K unbuffed on my barb.
 
Major loss in number of players. Probably thanks to school, the General Chat and public games have a lot fewer people. Also, I’ve noticed that most other people I play with are Paragon 15 and lower. Lot in the single digits.

Personally, I'm getting bored, even with Acts 2 and 3 opened up. And I have a 2 week vacation coming up. FML.

I am level 3 Paragon. I don't play much.

If I had to guess, they don't want to be considered a true investment/commodities market subject to a brazillion regulations.

I play a WW Barb and my Bash crits are up to 240k. With the 3% passive you get 0.6% which is still a good chunk when you crit.

My DPS is up to 75k unbuffed now, I bought an IK Armor and Boots. I got a great armor for the price but the boots were cheapest I could find since the chest was around the price I wanted to pay.

My OH is low damage but it gives me exactly what I need, LoH, Crit damage and a Socket. My only good find this patch so far.

I can give you a quick rundown on my gear costs from quick guesses:

Helm - 5 million
Shoulders - 60 million
Chest - 120 million
Amulet - 52.5 million
Belt - 22 million (a bunch of life for me, hard to replace right now)
Gloves - 3 million (just under this actually)
Bracers - 3 million (total steal)
Left Ring - $10 (I couldn't pass this up)
Right ring - 20 million
Pants - 10 million (guessing as I forgot, but this will be the next thing I look at upgrading)
Boots - 43 million
MH - 73.5 million
OH - Found

My Barb cost me around 412 million gold outside of gems and $10 from the RMAH. All prices are not current. They have been bought over time.

I am up to paragon level 38.
