I'm not doing it to sell in the RMAH, I'm doing it so I can actually afford the insane prices for end game gear. High quality gear can be bought cheap but there's an exponential growth of cost for every 1 more stat an item has over the last. That's just how supply and demand works.

It's pretty common in WoW too. Some people really enjoy that aspect of it; it's like being a Mogul Lite!

the chat makes me laugh, people complained about there not being on on by default so they turn it on. and its filled with nothing but spammers, so no one uses it. anyone who played a MMO saw that coming from a mile away,
 
I miss the D2 bnet system. It was nice having a real chat place and seeing (actually seeing their character) who was there.
A WoW-style chat without an actual world to be in (like being in the middle of a city) is useless.
 
Why is it that there's usually only like 90 people in chat when I login? All the channels seem to have very low numbers of people connected, is it just the server I'm connecting to, or are people just leaving chat?

just like D2, only so many people fit into each channel otherwise it would be insanity.

found a fun bug while playing last night. Im only in Act 2 and was running through the desert looking for the blood of that beheaded mage guy. I town portaled while standing in a pool of the black gunk that slows you down, and when i got to town, i was moving around like i was still in the gunk. instead of my usual +9 speed, i was at -24 in town. went back to normal when i portaled back. funny stuff.

Also played a Wizard, and it seems like they can be tailored pretty well for group or solo play. Having a choke point with the Twisters is pretty nice.

what's elective mode and how do you turn it on?
 
Elective mode is is the game options mode.

It allows you to attach any skill to your 1-4, instead of limiting them to groups. Same for RMB. Lets you use multiple skills from the same group at once.
 
what to do if inferno act1 is killing me.

Do i farm act4 hell? but the ietms there suck, they dont even are lvl 60 items...

im kinda stuck... Do i farm easy (from the start) mobs of act1 inferno?

Act 3-4 Hell has a chance to drop level 61 and 62 items. In the next patch, they said the chance is 9% and 2% respectively and that's bumped up. So it's probably lower right now.

ug.. i keep making the mistake in the AH see item --good price --buy.. find out its lvl 60 cant use.--


sigh.. i keep forgetting the lvl filter..

act 3 has better chance of good items than act4? lol

oh wait, that was the chance of lvl 61 and 62 right?
 
thanks, gonna keep farming act4 then, although kazaroth is still pretty hard.

That teleport+hit attack insta kill my wizard if i dont have the absorbing shield up
 
UGH.. I may need to take a break. Game is consuming my free time. Last night was our MP nite. My son, his GF, their friend and the old man....
We have several charaters through normal. So we are playing level 2, Nightmare.
They have other toons... FAR ahead of this old guy.
Last night, our first groups legendary.
So the kids all sign off around midnight. What does this old man do? Load up his glass cannon, and go forth.
My son got the legendary by smashing a coffin. I am on a hunt. Smashing and shooting EVERYTHING in site. Which I do normally, but now, I am double tapping every box, log, stump and container LOL. Just to be sure.
Next thing I know, its 3 AM. Soooooooo tired LOL.
