Guys in Inferno - Please post your HP/DPS/Average resistance + which act you are farming. I want to know where I stand.

I'm a WD 30k / 18k dps / 240 resist. Farming Act 1 pretty easily. Unless it's some insane elite packs lol. Then it's SPIRIT RUN DIE RUN DIE RUN DIE, K bypassed? moving on...

wizard
20k hp / 28k dps / 0 resist, full glass cannon as that's all that matters pretty much

Got mauled by a scavenger elite pack in nm. Hope they do manage to do something to adjust game play, some kiting in the boss battles isn't bad but if it becomes the entire game for non-melee that could be a big bore sooner than later.

Wizard
Hp: 33k
Dps: 48k
25% runspeed!!!!
Res: ~280

I mow through Act I Inferno as if it was Act 1 Normal. My wizard can do a butcher run and pretty much 1 shot most mobs without even stopping and kill every elite i run into.

I've started farming Act II and notice the loot quality is much better on average, so I've been farming Act II for a couple of days. Got some nice stuff, like a high dex, attack speed, crit chance gloves that sold for like 3 mil, and high dex, high vit, high resist socketed armor for 2 mil and tons of stuff in the 100k-500k range. I can kill 95% of the elites in Act II, it is nice.

The only mobs I have issues with is fast/immune combos. Everything else is cake.

So I stopped farming butcher to exclusively farm Act II for now.

I'm to the catacombs in Act III right now but it requires a slower DPS build so I'm not looking to advance too much in Act III until I get better gear.

Edit: I also got belial on my first try. The hardest part is the 2nd stage where you fight belial and his adds but after that, you can avoid all of his attacks and wear him down.

Also witch doctor, about 26k life and 21k dps. Shitty everything else.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm doing. Occasionally I have to convince myself that I really am having fun.

Since I can't do damage I decided to try to be crowd control with Hex, the giant frog that swollows enemies, mass confusion, the long version of corpse wall, and I keep going back and forth between darts and zombies bears. Can't decide. The range is low on zombie bears so I have to run into the thick of things and chance getting killed, but I believe it's the highest damage skill WD has.

I hope the next patch tunes this game up because running away isn't a fun game mechanic. There must be a way to plow through hoards of demons and be difficult at the same time.

WD, A3 farming getting carried by Tyrael

~7K HP
~61K DPS
~who cares about resist I got 7K HP
2.92 attack speed
19% move speed
18.5% crit chance
109% crit damage

I have tried to build up some Dex just so I can have potential RnG luck.

I switch gear to something with more HP/resist when running A2. my DPS is around 41K will demolish A1 and is more than adequate for A2.

sometimes I run A1 with my glass cannon gear in A1 because A1 is pretty laughable in terms of mob damage compared to A2/A3

Wizard 24k health 27k dps 350-470 resistances.

I play a more survivability build then most wizards, and I am always the last person alive in a co-op game. I could bump up my damage with Magic Weapon and Familiar, but A3 Inferno elites seem to heal to full in under 5 seconds after you die (in previous acts you could run back and they would still be damaged).

I actually let my dps drop to 22k by wearing MF gear that puts me at around 110% MF without the Neph buff most times. Takes longer to kill, but I do get better loot.

How do you kill anything in Act III with 22k dps? My 48k dps feels inadequate and I go OOM on trash mobs quite frequently even with gear that gives me back 20+ arcane per crit. And my crit chance is 32% from just gear. I don't die often, it is just mind numbingly slow.

I was just saying there was one out there. The guy was only charging the low price because he put keys in. Gold was about 22 a million so you were paying a decent price when he put this out there.

My friend purchased the bot and another D3 account. Using two accounts at level 60, he says he is making like 450k an hour. He's already sold $200 worth of gold in 2 days.

Barb A1 MF gear - 45k HP, 15k DPS, ~300-400 resist all, ~9k-10k armor, ~160 MF base

Barb 'real' gear - 50k HP, 20k DPS, ~700 resist all, ~10k+ armor

I have zero problems in A1 even in MF gear but past that I need my real stuff. I still feel like there's a lot of room for growth though, I could see myself getting over 1000 resist and quite a bit more armor eventually in the right gear which I think would make a big difference (but finding high str, high vit, +armor, resist all gear is going to be slow and expensive). Additionally I'm trying to get my ASPD up and some decent life on hit but I'm not really at a point where I can afford that without gimping my survivability, though it works ok on single targets even now.

Alot of kiting with teleport fracture. I'll drop a Venom Hydra, then teleport in the direction of mobs chasing me so I appear behind them, and alot of times the fracture images will grab aggro. So every time I can teleport, I usually get 5+ seconds where I can just stand there and spam attacks, while the mobs are being ticked down by the Hydra poison.

I do not do this in tight areas though, mainly outside by the siege engines for example.

I can get up to 36k-ish with Magic Weapon and Familiar, and I do plow through trash with that, but I just cant seem to stay alive running a build like that.

Wow... I haven't really been playing much except on weekends since it came out, and am still only in Act 3 NM with my first character.

Interesting thing that surprised me (no shit for lot of you) is the usefulness of gold this time around. I've been wasting most of mine upgrading artisan and smithing abilities, and avoiding the auction house. Damn that was a bad idea.

And the auction house is a bit scary/stupid/funny at the same time. On the "recommended items" page, there are pages (probably 100?) of the same unique or set item with huge swings in bid prices. Lot of the stuff doesn't look like a guarantee sell unless it's priced with a buyout at around the starting market-bid price. Not sure I'd touch real money auctioning with that risk... Seems like real money auction house will be based around gold trading - if that's not allowed, I expect to see lots of $50k level 1 amulets.

You are a patient man, my friend. I tried running a blizzard/hydra/teleport spec and it takes forever to kill normal mobs and even more forever to kill elites. It's hard to keep that up without making a mistake. Kudos to you.

My spec is orb/tele/diamond/hydra (arcane)/energy armor/magic weapon with illusionist/astral/temp flux.

My tactic is to drop an arcane hydra and run circles around it while spamming orb the direction of the mobs. With 25% runspeed, this works like a charm and mobs die decently fast in ACT III, die very fast in ACT II and 1 shot in Act I.

I also got a alternate set of armor for MF that equals around 200 that I'll quickly throw on right before I kill an elite, boss, treasure guy or opening a resplendant. Works like a charm. Only once did a treasure guy get away because I lost so much DPS, I couldn't finish his remaining 5% life before he teleported away and he was purple one, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

lol, too many.

Imagine that, let's say, 10,000 people have been hacked (compromised, actually). I would say with the amount of complaints, that's probably a generous number. Do you know what percent of players that is?

0.159% (10,000/6,300,000)

In fact, for it to be 1% of all players, there would have to be 63,000 (yes, that is 63-THOUSAND) records of "getting hacked".

Now really, with the actual amount of reports, is it that big of an issue or "too many"?

These people are being compromised, end of story. If there was a hack going on, there would be much more outrage.

why is 10000 a generous number? id venture it to be more. there have been around 10 people on these forums alone complaining of hacking. you think we represent 1/1000th of those who have been hacked? unlikely. plus people on these forums would likely be less likely to get hacked than the general population

How's this bot work? Is it a much better player than real people? Does the bot knows and buys or finds and equips the best equipment out there?

I don't use Blizzard though, I use Orb (Celestial) instead. Blizzard does take forever to kill, but Orb's that pass through all enemies (including Minion Immunity elites to hit the boss hiding behind them) are pretty much priceless to me now.

What kind of gear do you have? I'm happy to be at ~500 res all(buffed) with 11k dps and 37k hp. I work the AH as much as I can, I've spent about 5mil on gear and nowhere near your numbers... I do however have 1.93 attacks per second without frenzy and 591 LoH. Thinking about dropping the shield for another 1h to bump the dps but really damage mitigation seems to be my biggest problem.

Anyone holding off on their AH purchases for high end gear? Blizzard mentioned that they plan to buff legendary gear in the next patch. There are some decent ones now but I don't feel like paying millions for them if better alternatives are on the way.

Is this only for new legendary pick ups or will they buff our current ones?

Just ran into the worst elite pack I could think of in act 2 of inferno... the fast goblin things with shield, vortex, plague and freezing. I couldn't do anything to them and their vortex was always timed perfectly to a freeze going off then all 3 would poop green pools under me...
