I could be wrong because I haven't played barb too long but it seems like two handed weapons are only about 20-30% stronger that 1 handed weapons. Wouldn't it just always be better to dual wield? From what I've seen two handed weapons aren't that much stronger.

Barbs with 2H weapons do some good damage.

Switched up my skills and finished off act 1 inferno pretty easily. act 2 is a lot tougher, at least as a wiz. everything is fast and in your face

2H weapons only give a 15% AS bonus i think

I hate to keep writing this, but it is getting tiresome...

EU servers weren't working all of yesterday's afternoon/evening (unable to logon), then they were just down, NOW they're down but with a reason - a patch. If you account for work 😛 that's 1 day without being able to play, plus this morning.
At least Blizz fixed the lag issues...

The US servers seem to have a lot less problems.

I haven't played Act 4 Inferno yet, but this is my feeling after entering A3 Inferno on my WD

A1 Inferno = Normal, when I decide to do Jailer/Butcher runs, it is usually very easy

A2 Inferno = Nightmare, I normally do ok as long as I don't run into elites that can easily chase me down

A3 Inferno = Hell, I DIE A LOT AND HATE THIS ACT

You will be able to go smoothly until ZK, then just glitch him and kill him. Belial sucks BADLY.

Then you are "rewarded" with Act 3. It is awful.

I was under the impression that dual wielding is faster, therefore you are using twice the amount of mana for a skill... While a two hander swings slower, it will hit harder and waste less mana.

Here, some criticism for a change:

The game is getting more and more retarded.

All through normal, nm, hell but also inferno, the normal, non-elite mobs are RIDICULOUSLY easy to blow up. Up to the point of boredom.

Up to hell, bosses *can* be tough but are manageable with kiting etc.

Inferno is just pure retarded idiocy - it's idiocy because the normal mobs are STILL easy to blow through (some mental handicapped person can probably deal with the normal mobs, given appropriate gear).

And then, in contrast to the retarded easiness of all the other mobs the Elites and blues are mentally insane hard.

It pisses me off that the game developers didn't bring balance in to make the game a steady, halfway challenge throughout - but instead the constant change between idiotically easy thrash mobs and virtually impossible elite mobs. This is just stupid retarded game design, IMO.

This is as much fun as scheduling an appointment for a root canal.

My other point of criticism is that UP TO THIS POINT (very, very early in Inferno) i haven't had ONE SINGLE drop of even remotely interesting loot throughout the entire game. This is the game with the worst loot ever, it's literally worthless. I really, really hope that at least in Inferno good stuff drops, but i start to doubt this. Right now i am merely interested in Inferno since someone said (rumors) that a tier set dropped off thrash....but this still needs to be seen.

Furthermore, one might think that the game and in particular Inferno would be interesting for farming, but here is a big problem because farming is actually made VERY HARD in this game.

Many Elites/bosses only drop grays and whites which makes farming certain bosses pointless. The fact that someone dies many times to kill an elite etc. also doesn't make this look like ideal for farming. Inferno is simply too hard to be able to farm it, IMO. It's actually too hard (the elites) to have FUN in this *&!"#* game AT ALL.

Just started Nightmare (L31 or 32 Wizard, now 33), and this game is even more awesome.

Some of the random mobs have even required me breaking out the potions. But I like this.

Nightmare-level stuff have decent AH potential?

rings, amulets, gloves that roll IAS + other good mods

bracers that roll crit + other good mods

MF/GF stuff can also potentially sell

rest of stuff is vendor material

I don't know, it seems like duel wielding will always been so much more better than a 2 handed weapon. Even just one weapon and a good shield would be a lot better than a 2 handed weapon, overall.

Found a legendary item the first day Diablo 3 was out, haven't found anything good since xD - Just hit level 60.

Had my best flip yesterday, paid 350k for a pair of DH gloves, 160+ dex, 68 resist all, 16% attack speed, 200+ life regen. Sold pretty quickly for 2.5m(which is probably still a good deal)

I'm finding it a lot harder to find weapons though

Barbs with 2H weapons do some good damage.

I think a barb just "needs" a 2H weapon, leave the sissy 1H stuff to the other classes. That said, in D3 survivability with a 2H is awful...

well...i finished nightmare yesterday with my lvl 51 wiz.

Started act1 but it was getting too damn hard, i switched skills but i still was getting raped. So i hit the AH. Bought a new weapon (went from ~187 dps to a ~230 dps weapon, like ~1300 damage increase), got a new offhand with +damage, and got a new pair of boots.

i went from 2900 dps to 5400 (always with magic weapon) and from 9khp to 14khp. Now im having less trouble.

I switched skills to:
1) mirror image (the one with 5 images)
2) energy armor (with the 35% thingy)
3) magic weapon (with the 15% and knock back, is there any rune better than that one?)
4) teleport (with the multiple teleports rune)
5) arcane orb with less cost
6) venom hydra

now its not that bad, with mirror image and teleport i can keep a distance from enemies

and got this nice spot to farm items in act1 that is really fast and always has 1 chest and 1 yellow mob. its super small and has a checkpoint at the entrance. So im doing runs of that. Got from lvl 52 to 53 doing it lol... i guess im an addict to runs since d2... its in the drowned temple part trying to get the 2 parts for the altars

This what makes the economy overpriced,
just because people like you who sell A 350K ITEM for insane amount.

After i cleared Act 1 inferno, i took a look at how much gold i have looted ,
its fu**ing 1,350,000 gold only !! where the heck do you think i will get 2.5 million ?!

350k for an epic ( very powerdful gear ) is okey... 2 act 1 inferno runs and u get it,
but 2.5 million ? = 8 runs... which is equal TO 24hours of gameplay...

Spend 24 hours for 1 peice of gear only , WTF ?!

im having trouble to get money too, everything is too expensive for the ammount of gold i get... the vendors really dont give you ANYTHING. if they would give you more money for your items i wouldnt be stacking them for the AH

i mean i can sell an item for as cheap as 1k and i would still do more money that the vendors give me for them... it makes no sense.

I guess its just the way it is: be poor until finding an item that sells for 3million. or have a good eye for reselling

i cant remember what you are using for a wep but i have a 300 DPS 1 hander with dex and vit on it if you want it and its an upgrade for you
