This falls under the 80/20 rule. Any (reputable) publishing company is going to anticipate what they can, and plan for what they can't. Unfortunately, not every company has the same capacity for anticipation as the best ones do. And some companies just rush to get it out the door to meet a deadline rather than actually doing anything like 'Finishing coding'. by and large they hope that what they anticipate is 80% and that what they didn't was under 20%.

Even at 15 cents on the dollar, that is HUGE profits. consider how many players they are getting a monthly subscription from.

What, chest runs? Blizz has already said they're gonna fix that ASAP and make sure damage interrupts rez like it was intended too.

Not those, I'm not up to inferno so I'm not that great at relaying what they did. The general consensus appears to be that they are farming bosses that takes very little time and effort. Something about Witch doctors and +kazillion MF equipped friends joining in at some act 4 inferno mode spot.

I truly believe Blizzard is a good company but unfortunately, they now fall under the umbrella of Activision and unlike Blizzard, Activision is a giant game conglomerate that only cares about the bottom line and not about the quality of a game. Blizzard no longer has much say on the amount of resources to allocate to a game that does not pay a subscription. That's just fact.

the dupeing the went on in D2 both softcore and hardcore didnt break it, farming/exploiting for stuff in D3 wont break it either
 
anyone have any numbers as to how the game has sold so far, i think they were predicting a few million sales or something, im curious if they massivily underestimated it.

that being said ive only seen lag once ad ive never been kicked or not been able to log in

You're right about D2 but I don't thinkt he same will apply to D3. I'm not sure I'll be able to explain why other than to say times are different... D2 was in a day where social media, the internet wasn't such a big deal. Now it's in everyones lives and everyone takes more notice to it. People have less tolerance and expect more of online games. Or maybe I just got old. :\

The dogs last about 15 seconds, then my gollum gets whittled down. I just cant keep enough mana to use mana-draining skills effectively. Mana leaching spiders don't help enough since they do about zero damage. The cooldown on the higher level summoning skills is too long to be very effective.

My witch doctor is level 41 by the way. I guess I'm going to set this character aside and go back to my demon hunter for a while.

My friend is playing one and its 60 now, he solo's great with it he has solo'd every boss up to Diablo on Hell mode and most of the quest line solo. He is now soloing in Inferno some around act 1. I would not give up on it just work on gear or change your abilties around you are using.

Not sure why i could care what he says, never heard of and its popular to have a negative view to get traffic to your site.

Game is great, thats all i care about from someone that is actually lvl 60 and played it longer then 2 hours.
 
anyone else just had the game crashing, and now there's an error and you cannot login?

Edit: Why is it when i join or make a public game, it's only me and another one, never a full party of 4?
 
Anyone have a guest pass they would like to give away? I posted this in the general guest pass thread but I have a feeling that will be much more viewed by those looking to get the passes than give them away 😉

Ya i mostly get one player and they are standing in town. I just join a few until i get a decent game.

Suprisingly i have found some decent players and have freinded them for when my other friends are not on to play with, so on my way to 60 i normally always had a few people to play with. I expected the pugs for hell mode to be bad but i was in a few great ones.

Maybe a lot of players are playing it solo,I know I'm.

I'm playing both Mass Effect3 MP and single play in D3 at the moment.
 
It's logging me in, but my toon is GONE...WTF? I doesnt pull the hero list, instead asks me to create a new character.

I am in panicking right now...i have a lvl 30 wiz..where is it?

Edit: NVM, had to switch server back to America

Just got hit by hacker, and looks like tons of others too. All my gold is gone. Recent player list has the name leiyong on top.

Flexy, you might have as well. You might check your region, could jsut be under the wrong one and your lvl 30 wiz is still there.

I opened a case, this sucks 🙁
 
Friend got hit yesterday by a hacker, if you have a android or iPhone download the authenicator since its free and you only have to enter the code once a week or so now.
