I don't know what you guys are bitching about. I got a night's sleep, woke up at a quarter til 6 and logged right in for the first time. 😀 No issues whatsoever. Thanks for testing the login server!!

lol this is why i'm glad i'm getting release day delivery.

i bet it was more or less a DDOS on their servers with the number of people trying to login simultaneously!! 😀

People also leveled from 80-85 in WoW in a matter of hours. Don't underestimate the Blizzard hardcore, they'll do anything quickly just to be the first. Also keep in mind they've probably been studying builds and the strategy guide for days.

I am interested to hear more real-world completion times, though.
 
Logged in for 2 hours this morning before work, being sure to explore every nook and cranny and the random dungeons, and just now got the quest to go kill the Skeleton King. Will mess up the Skeleton King after work.

Understood, but even a speed run should last longer than 3 hours, yes?
 
Got up this morning for work, stopped at the computer for a moment and hit the d3 button, loaded right up and after rushing through the char creation I was in game just a few minutes later. Ran into no problems at 6 and will delete that char when I get home and start again so I can see the cinematic this time.

Dunno, when Wrath of the Lich King came out you had a group of nutters both go from 70-80 and clear Naxxramas in like... 48-72 hours after release?

People are crazy, it wouldn't surprise me especially on the lowest difficulty setting.
 
Broke down and got D3, just logged in this morning to see if everything worked. Off from work in 6 hours. 🙁

One thing I never figured out in beta, how do you make a private co op game with friends? And if anyone wants to hit me up in game for some co op, I have the same name there (Merad).
 
The thing I remember most vividly about the beta is people doing nothing but speed runs to the boss and then whining the game was too short.
I have a suspicion that will be the case with the full game too. watch for guys to finish it sometime this evening and then listen to all the bitching.
I'm gonna go check the blizzard forums this afternoon.

Wonder if it will slow down the SC2 community.........

UGH. i was able to make a player. get to tristem. but hell i was getting logged out every 10 seconds.

WTF i want to play single player. i shouldn't worry about being logged out. fucking blizzard...grr

to me, Diablo 3 is going to be about beating Inferno difficulty not completing the story although I will still be playing Normal solo just so I don't get the story spoiled to me
