I'm going to try and push Season 9 pretty hard and get the tab. Not sure what class will be best for this.

Monk - I get Sunwuko, so LTK becomes a quick farm option. I think LTK can be adjusted for grift pushing; I'm a bit behind on monk meta
Wizard - FB is good again? I don't think I can farm with it, so I'd be out of mats for a while I wait to build a farm spec
Crusader - Invoker is very powerful very early, but sader farming requires a LoN build (bomb or zoo), so I likely won't be able to farm effectively for a while
Barb - I like the quake set, but I'm not sure it can easily push 70+, and I don't think it makes for a great farm build

I want to farm early and build up a supply of mats so I can re-forge more often. I figure that a new toon for pushing wouldn't be a huge deal if I can farm well.

I am welcome to input. Guides and videos aren't really clearing the matter up for me. Especially since "OMG BUILD SUCH 90+" guides only shows a 75 in the video with 1000+ plevels.

I suppose that I shouldn't have expected it, but it looks like the Necromancer won't make it for Season 9 (I didn't know S9 would start on Jan. 6th, I just saw that today). I'm just a bit confused though... are they... really going to release the Necromancer during S9? Or are they going to wait about three extra months for a release alongside Season 10 instead? I'm just not sure where they're going with this by not releasing it for S9. But I guess that the Necro is just not ready yet, and they're still working on balancing the class in general, or making unique items for them. Still... I'm disappointed I won't hide it.

Anyway. I'll still play some S9. I hope it's going to be better than S8. For me, S8 has been the worst Season so far. I played it a solid three weeks in a row (every day, at least around 3 hours a day even during the week, a bit more during weekends) and as of this typing I STILL haven't found the Ancient version of the only weapon I care to have for my Barb to progress further. But it's ok at this point since I stopped playing S8 about two weeks ago, burnt by grinding my mind out to get that single item and never getting it had its toll. I'm rejuvenating for S9 instead.

I played quite a lot during Season 8 and got a Demon Hunter up to GR75. I'm still missing the 2nd conquest for the stash tab though and I'm not sure that I'll be able to get it in time. The rest of the conquests look like they're a bit of a pain to do.

Honestly, that's on you. Blizzard only ever said 2017, they never once said it was coming this soon. They did say constantly that only a couple skills were implemented and the sets weren't even conceptually finalized.

Quick question. Does D3 still require constant internet access? Played D2:LoD for over a decade non-stop, but when D3 was first released I didn't have access to the Internet and by the time I got a semi-decent connection, I was only planning on playing single player and there was no way in hell I was going to play a single player game with latency issues. Now that I have Comcast's best package I could play it no problem, but it's been so long I honestly don't really care anymore. I'd just like to have it since I love ARPGs, but I won't be buying it if it requires constant internet access because I'd like to be able to play it offline if my Internet goes out or when I travel.

Yes, it needs internet access.

Conqueror done, that stash tab is mine! only two trivial tasks away from Guardian now.I am really happy I could come this far 🙂

So if anyone is going to play invoker crusader next season here are couple of observations
1. Do not use hack just do not, it is bad for this build. Use pig sticker and you want IAS and CDR on the weapon, I am using a non ancient version just because it has these two properties. You will apply the stacks so fast using pig it is quite noticeable.
2.Do not use Heart of Iron, use sanguinary vambraces instead in the cube. You will clear room full of whites and then it becomes quite efficient since you do not need to hunt elites for this build.
3.This build will never ever top the leader-boards so if you are going for that use Lon bomb/blessed hammer

Wow cool people still play! I cleared an 84 a few weeks back on my WD. Stopped since I kind of hit a wall and fishing GR's got boring. Super excited about the Necromancer.

You need to check where you're getting your info from.

I fear I won't be finishing this season's journey; I need another conquest done. Anyone have a DH leveled this season to help with the cursed chest event?

Spent about 4'ish hours last night and got through the initial 4 chapters for the wings. Turned out to not be too bad to finish but don't feel like spending the time for the extra bank.

That'd be appreciated; coming down to the wire here. I'll look for you when I get home from work after tonight.

Np, finding the event is boring af but well the extra stash is really handy, have you also done the boss mode? otherwise we can knock it down too.

Yeah, I've done it before for previous seasons. Mantle and I attempted to get it done and he luckily found it on his first cast, but we only managed 280 kills or so since both of our specs aren't that great for it either.

I've already done the solo GR75, so I just need 1 conquest for the stash space this season. I haven't attempted the Boss Mode conquest since a few seasons ago, but I remember it being pretty difficult. I had assumed it would be just as difficult and require a full, really well organized party to get it done.

It is really easy I have helped quite a few people to get it done.

Since I'm sure everyone was dying to know, I think I'm going with a monk in S9.

LTK to farm fast in the beginning, transitioning to Inna or generator build for pushing later on. Maybe go LoN for farm or push late season as well.

Color me surprised: that achievement was pretty easy! Thanks again for the help on getting that last bit for my journey done, Jay. ^^

Sweenish, monk does seem to be the most versatile character now, so it'd probably be the easiest to build for. WW barb looks like it may be making a come back though. And possibly sentry DH. I'm just glad they're still making updates to the game and not just letting it die.
