My gear progress sucking some serious butt lately. Can't get anything to make greater than T7 palatable. Started a T8 game by accident and started a rift, couldn't understand why nothing was dying till I finished it and went to change settings and noticed the T level.

After going back to NS, got some great tips and got to experience the glory of zdps monks while building up my HoTA barb.

I think I'm going to give monk a bit of a rest. I'll work on this barb and get my UE DH up to snuff.

Tonight is a big night I am at 898 and a half and I want to make the push to 900 I will need some high grifts to get that done, hopefully some of u guys are around to do it.

Is anyone else experiencing lag spikes (everyone 10 to 15 seconds) since the past couple of days? It makes the game essentially unplayable (and I do mean latency here, not frame rate issues).

I've been having that problem off and on for the last week or so. I've had some periods where the latency will spike to 400ms or so and everything will freeze for a few seconds. Last night I had a pretty consistent 70ms though.

I have several latency issues of my own, so it is hard to tell when there is a system problem.

I know i'm not in the console forums but I bought a PS4 last month and got a few game, cinluding D3 UEE.

I'm surprised to say that I prefer the game on the console/couch over the PC. Dunno why, maybe it's the gameplay, the huge screen or simply playing on a couch is so much cool (never had a console since the PS3 and even then I didn't fired it up that much).

Anyways, the new cube is awesome as are the new mats. Loving the additions of the last patch.

And yesterday while playing with my brother online, we stumbled upon The Vault, that was a nice surprise!

Congrats on the 900. I think we are going to have to take turns going zDPSxp and XP to power level. I need some more forgotten souls so I can reroll a leorics ring. Maybe a bounty weekend would help.

Thanks, like I said last night, I couldn't have gotten this far without all the help!

I will be around all weekend no kiddies = a lot of leveling.

Definitely don't mind switching it up between characters.

Finally got five pieces of the multishot set so using the cube I managed to try that out (bow also cubed but no quiver for now). Put my sheet dps at over a million and killing seems pretty decent. Still only rocking two ancient pieces so going much above tier 7 kinda sucks. Also dislike all the down time while you're building hatred back up.

What class/builds are you going for?

All the newest sets from this patch makes Torment 9+ difficulty a walk in the park...

it's simply a matter of getting both Focus/Restraint-rings (doesn't matter what stats they come with) then complete any of the new set items from this patch (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/19858614/patch-230-preview-items-and-sets-8-14-2015).

Remember to convert duplicate set-pieces into missing set pieces using The Cube to finish the set as fast as possible. Also, if you're talking about the Yang's Recurve bow, you should NOT cube it... you lose out on the massive amount of RCR.

This. You need the 50% RCR of the Yang's Recurve.

I need mats so I can cube my calamity and cindercoat. And then my DH is set up and ready to hunt down ancient pieces and F + R with desirable stats. One of my rings is so old it has a socket rolled.

I suppose I could try and go for the generator belt, but I don't think I'm going to target it with gambling. My witching hour is doing alright, and my DH is a touch CHD-starved due to my lousy rings.

Cubing cindercoat is a waste for ue, trust me I tried it and it does little.

u are better off cubing hunters wrath and using a witching hour or running leorics crown in that slot.

Cubing Hunters Wrath means no Cindercoat or Pride's fall which destroys the efficiency and DPS of the UE set, you'll spend too much time using Generators and not enough time spamming Multishot. You want to spam MS, and you can't do that without Cinder or Pride's Fall.

Sorry to say it, but you probably made a mistake. The MS build doesn't work well at all without lots of Resource Cost Reduction. Even a very badly-rolled Yang's is Best In Slot for that build. Hopefully a new one will drop for you soon, then you can Cube something else like a Calamity/Leonine/Thunderfury.

I agree that Cindercoat in the cube is the way to go.

Spaming multi-shot is glorious. I was finally able to really speedrun 40's to level my Iceblink (no TF on follower yet).

Tomorrow I might see how high I can push.

I didnt think of that tbh. You could go lightnin but then u lose rocket, I was happy with a 50 solo though. Never thiught I would se that with dh.

Quick question...I tried coming back to this game about 8 months ago or so to find that all loot drops were bound to your account. Is this still the same? I would love to try it again, but I fear that more of the social aspect ( bartering/trading ) that I loved about this game will take some of the luster away from me investing fully into it again.

The barter/trade system is still limited to trading with the folks you were in-game with when you discovered the item and only for a couple of hours afterward. The social aspect now is finding gear with other folks and sharing.

On a more serious note, last night after more frustrating grinding, I finally crafted the other ancient 1h shenlongs weapon I needed so now its down to a helmet and a ring.
