I mentioned this in another thread, but mymumble.com offers a free 5-slot mumble server without any catch whatsoever. It's perfect for D3 because there can't be more than 4 people in a group anyway.


Edit: Oh wth D: I just clicked on that link and they're not free anymore, it's a buck a month now for 5-slot. This free offer has been going on for at least two years. probably more. I guess it's over now.

When the next patch hits I'll likely come back to play some. I need to stop playing ARK before I get burned out on it before it releases. It's so fun though. >.<

I've been hosting a TS server and I wouldn't mind at all for it to be used by clan members here. 🙂
 
Correction on my previous post, it only takes 1 of each mat and 5 Death Breaths to extract the abilities, then you just set them as passives. With F+R + CoE passive I saw 20 billion + meteors with full Tals.

I finally got in last night and tried it myself. Basically if you do a full set of bounties you'll get 3 of each from each act (not including from bonus cache), enough to extract 3 items.

It definitely feels a lot more grindy. I could imagine that in 2.3 as soon as you login/create a game you'll just automatically do a full set of bounties for the mats. Being in a clan will certainly help for this as split bounties work just like now, although you don't get loot now (chest, goblins) if you are not in the same area, but you'll get all the caches at turn in.
 
I did some reading on WW builds, and I'm a little excited to be trying something new. Still don't think I'll care a lot until Season 3 ends so I can get ORotZ and the grifts get re-tuned in the patch.

Switching from WW6/IK4 to WW/BK. Should be interesting.

I'm more curious to see if I can at least push past 46.

I will also need to take advantage of the legendary re-roll to get my other BK ancient, then grind the crap out either getting the one ancient I have re-rolled as another ancient, or finding another ancient. Basically, half my BK is ancient, but I screwed it (the ancient one) up with a bad roll.

I did 49 with WW6/IK4. An ancient IKBB would get me into the 50's
 
The sad thing is that I have an ancient IKBB.

Floating between the two builds now. I can see some rolls that should be different, and little things that need changing. I guess my barb is in the point of diminishing returns when it comes to time invested and grift progress. It will currently suffice to probably let the barb sit until the patch drops.

I'll at least watch a couple high grift runs, I'm likely playing stupidly as well.

I'll go back to focusing on my WD and hunting for that SMK. Try and rebuild my blues while I'm at it.

What torment were you on, I got 4 from T8, maybe 5 or 6 from T10?

Yeah I found out later that it's different between torment levels. I got three from a T6 game, and later on I joined a friend's T3 game and only got one each. Since you said you got 4 from a T8, maybe we can extrapolate that to 5 on a T9/T10.

Also, when you do bounties it is very important to always do the act with bonus first. Then you have to turn in to Tyrael right after you're done (and receive your two caches), and the bonus will switch to a different act, so you proceed to do that one. Essentially, you can do all five acts in one session and receive 10 caches.

Finally got on tonight and got my cube. Running hexing/furnace/Coe. I will run some t10 tomorrow to see how it goes.
 
After much help lately from some of you, managed to roll through my first lvl 19 grift on T3 (for those on T6 blowing through lvl 45's and higher, try not to hurt yourself laughing). Big step for me.

Also just realized that getting those P points also effects other characters. Went back to try and finish the Campaign with my Barb and had 79 points to spread around. Was a nice little surprise. Now I just need to get him up to lvl 70.
 
If anyone did have a laugh, they'd just be ignorant. And stupid.

Everyone's been there. What's nice is how much faster it can be to get up to T6 and beyond.

If you're in the clan, most that I know including myself are always down to help out.
 
Believe me, people in the clan have been extremely helpful the past few nights and it's much appreciated. I imagine it can also be somewhat entertaining watching me run around like a chicken with my head cutoff in a T6 grift!

Your dance moves are entertaining. &#128513;. Seriously though we all enjoy running together so you are always welcome to join in.
 
Or, since you don't have BiS rings, get a RoRG and then you can use IK belt and any other piece, if you really want the IK 2-piece bonus.

Looks like you're on your way, though.

Have you broken a Hundo yet? Running around with Paul will power lvl you like mad.

Was doing some t6 rifts today, and had a guy at almost 1200 pop in for one game. other 2 guys were 450-550, and he made them look slow. crazy.

Not just yet. Took last night off to work the Barb through the campaign. While I know you guys don't mind, it's depressing to just sit on the sidelines/run around and try not to get killed.

Might be back at it tonight, and definitely next week as the wife is out of town Sunday-Friday.
 
well, that was nice. second bounty run and I pick up a ring from a random drop which became a very good ancient and then get some grandeur from the cache.

It may not be obvious, but the Grift level is independent from Torment level. I.E a T3 GR19 is the same as T6 GR19.

Roughly GR27 is equivalent in difficulty to T6.
