Yeah, I don't think there will be an issue unless she wants to play it prior to the UPS courier arriving. That would have been the benefit of getting it earlier, which isn't a big deal since the servers won't go online until 12AM PST on the 15th.

If you mean the annual pass, I don't think you need a key or anything of the sort. Diablo III is already added to your account, which means once the servers are up, you should be able to log in.
 
I got the annual pass and will get Diablo for free. I ordered the CE. I checked it out and from what I read, when I put the CE number into my account it will spit out a number for a regular Diablo game and upgrade my account.

Awesome. Can't wait.
 
I canceled my preorder at amazon as I saw no need for a boxed copy as I can use my digital copy at midnight and I predownloaded the client already anyway seemed kinda a waste.
 
I'll swing by Best Buy to get my pre-order and pick up a copy for my wife tomorrow at lunch. I have a feeling I'll be playing all week then pull and all nighter Friday and Saturday night. 🙂

I think I'll head home after work and clean up the office and get it our computers ready. I'm so pumped!

Wait, so if you bought a CE, you could buy a digital copy to play at release hour and then when you got your CE, essentially trade keys and get the key for the non-CE copy back to give to someone else?
 
At least from what I recall, if you upgrade from the Year Pass Diablo III to the Collector's Edition, you get 3 free months of WoW.

now that you mention it, for the bf3 release...we were able to play in CO starting at 10pm (midnight east coast).....screw waiting at gamestop till midnight 🙂

Just installed, and had a weird thing happen.

At around 70%, I get a warning from my motherboard software - Asus AI Suite " Warning CPU Temp 85 degrees celcius ".

WTF? I've never seen that before, not even after 8 straight hours of the Witcher 2.

Checked the temp after installing, and it's dropped to 52, and now after surfing a bit, it's down to 43.

Anyone else see anything like this? I'm a bit worried.
